Sports are cultural ceremonies of competition between people, tribes, institutions, factions, and countries. Many types of sports exist in the world but most are forms of physical and mental games in which one person or group of people attempts to establish dominance in the others.
Origin
Sports have existed since antiquity. Nobody is certain what the oldest sport is, but leading theories point to wrestling. Since then many more sports have come and went, with many more creative forms since the advent of new forms of technology.
