THEN MAYBE YOU SHOULDN'T BE LIVING HEEEEEEEEEEEEEERE

‘THEN MAYBE YOU SHOULDN’T BE LIVING HEEEEEEERE’ was a line shouted by Pierce Brosnan’s eponymous character in the 1988 Irish film, Taffin. The film centred on grizzled anti-hero debt collector Mark Taffin, as he tries to save his small town from industrialists who want to build a chemical plant over the sports field.

The film was relatively forgotten until May 2011, when it was shown on BBC1, the delivery of the line caused much amusement amongst regulars of the James Bond board on IMDb, as well as on the British radio show ‘The Adam and Joe Show’. Adam and Joe are popular radio and television presenters in the UK and are known all over the world with a particular fanbase in Australia. They generate many memes including this one.

Reaction videos are also starting to appear on YouTube, as well as a T-shirt design.

Captioned photos based upon the so called ‘Angry Broz’ image are also slowly being created.
