In preparation for the release of Toy Story 3, Disney released a customizable comic template for visitors of their site to use.
However, in typical 4chan fashion, what was once meant to be an innocent pastime for bored 10-year-olds soon erupted with profanity and meme-laced abominations, featuring favorite Toy Story Characters.
Spread
Although no one knows exactly where 4chan-created Toy Story 3 Comics started, clues point toward 4chan’s /co/ (comics) board, as well as the /v/ (video game) and /mu/ (music) boards. Threads have also been seen on /r9k/ and /b/, though these are often far and few between.
