Tragedy Seal launched off PETA’s Canada’s Shame webpage on May 3, 2011. The images feature a seal against a starbust, with tragic captions about the annual Canadian seal slaughter. Tragedy seal is frank about being bludgeoned to death for his skin; he wants to go clubbing, but being clubbed to death isn’t what he had in mind.
Tragedy Seal has been posted to peta.org, canadasshame.com, and has been retweeted and reposted by supporters.
