On August 2nd, 2010, a user on the video game website gametrailers.com by the name of PepoteRouge posted a topic in the forums titled "Biggest diss you ever recieved" in the general discussion section of the forum.
His post went along the lines of this:
At first the topic was treated normally by users until a user by the name of fiercedeity835 decided to mock PepoteRouge by making a post saying this:
after that post, several other users flooded the topic in only 3 hours, coining the term
"That basically destroyed my self esteem for the next few years"the mods also joined in, letting the flame thread to live on as the users in the thread even created a faction honoring this catchphrase
