“You Ain’t Got No Pancake Mix!” is a memorable quote originally said by Zach Galifianakis as part of his stand-up comedy act. In 2008, the phrase became widely adopted as a comical retort against religious evangelism after a video of a college student interrupting a Christian evangelist’s sermon using the phrase went viral on YouTube.
The phrase “You ain’t got no pancake mix!” stems from a stand-up routine that was performed by comedian Zach Galifianakis as early as in January 1999 at Luna Park in West Hollywood.
However, the quote didn’t gain much online traction until on September 26th, 2008, when YouTuber piscator11 uploaded a video titled “You aint got no pancake mix!” The video features a student from Michigan’s Grand Valley State University yelling “You ain’t got no pancake mix!” at a women attempting to preach Christianity to the assembled students. As of October 2014, the video has gained over 3.7 million views.
On February 28th, 2010, the Facebook page “You ain’t got no pancake mix” was created, as of October 2014, the page has gained over 6,000 views. On June 16th, 2010, Buzzfeed published the video, as of October 2014, the post has gained over 20,000 views. On June 18th, The Atlantic posted the video captioning it:

On June 22nd, Urban Dictionary user Thatreallyannoyinglosergirl submitted an entry for “You ain’t got not pancake mix,” which defined it as:
“1. The perfect way to shut up a annoying preacher person who shows up out of nowhere. Proven from a popular youtube video titled, ‘You ain’t got no pancake mix.’”
