You're a Wizard, Harry, often intentionally misspelled Yer a Wizard, Harry, refers to a memorable dialogue from 2001 film Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone in which character Hagrid reveals to Harry Potter that he is a wizard, with Harry reacting with surprise. Online, the dialogue has been used in memes and remixes, with a 2010 Garry's Mod video gaining particular renown.
Origin
On November 16th, 2001, fantasy film Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone premiered in the United States.[1] In one scene of the film, character Hagrid reveals to main character Harry Potter that he is a wizard and is to study in Hogwarts (scene shown below), to which Harry responds "I'm a what?"

On July 16th, 2009, YouTube[2] user thejess11 made the earliest known upload of the clip to YouTube (video no longer available).
On October 31st, 2009, YouTube[3] user Snag Prophet posted the earliest found remix based on the clip, a This Is Sparta remix (shown below) that received over 66,000 views in 12 years.
Spread
On June 17th, 2010, YouTube[4] user GurpageProductions uploaded a Garry's Mod parody of the scene, the best known single instance of the meme (original video no longer available). The video received nearly 2 million views prior to its removal due to a copyright claim. On September 11th, 2010, YouTube[5] user GlobalGlitcherz reuploaded the video (shown below), with the reupload gaining over 5 million views in 11 years.
Following the viral spread of the parody, the scene gained notable popularity in remixes. Additionally, the catchphase saw use as "You're an X, Harry" snowclone.
On September 13th, 2014, GurpageProductions[6] uploaded "Welcome to Hogwarts!", a sequel to the original parody (reupload shown below).

I've seen this a while back, and I must say that in my opinion, it is unrelated to "Are you a wizard?" which is an image macro. "You're A Wizard, Harry" is from the Harry Potter movie, and what I see, was made famous by the GMod version.

There are occasional 4chan threads where pictures different people/characters are posted with variation of this phrase as a content of the post (i.e. KKK member says 'you're a nigger, Harry' and AVGN says 'you're fucking horrible, Harry') so I say it's different than Are you a wizard?. Not sure if big enough on its own to confirm so post moar pics, vids etc.
