It first Came from that irritating taunt that is overused in brawl (also online).
After a 2 months of brawl's release, ElboTheHedgehog posted a video on youtube with over 350,000 views, it's called Sonic Brawl Glitch - You're Too Slow UNLEASHED!!!. And be carefull, if you click the annotation about how to do it, you get rick roll'd.
And then after several days the video was posted, there were alot of machinimas about you're too slow, there was also the famous sparta remix of the taunt.
FACTS: The video that ElboTheHedgehog made, got over 1000 views the day that it got released (alot comparing with the average videos on YouTube). The taunt is allways used when a server lags in Brawl (wich is pretty funny). The face that ElboTheHedgehog put on sonic's face was from an image from sonic unleashed (title says it all). EVEN IN THE YEAR 2004 THEY SEARCHED YOURE TOO SLOW!!!
