Yep, this pretty much says it all.
Only thing that I might add would be that the human attraction to 'cute' as defined above is an evolved behavior that urges parents to take care of their children since babies lack any defenses for years after birth.
Thus, we are generally attracted to things with baby-like proportions: big eyes, big heads, etc.
