I believe what the poster was trying to say was: Discord definitely "discorded" the other ponies, and the only way to break them out of the spell was to remind them how they originally were. The problem is that when Twilight used her magic, she actually "reprogrammed" them according to her own interpretations on how they would act in certain situations.
