I'm pretty sure that Pokedollars are based on yen. Even after you convert it though, $4.48 for a can of lemonade is ludicrous. Even worse is the fact that a bicycle is worth $12795.90, more than some people pay for a used car.

@RobyBang: well, the game came out in 1996, so it was actually more around $3.20 or something. but yeah, still a bit pricey. and if you consider the fact that there's only one bicycle shop in the whole region, they can sell they're bikes at any price they want, it's either pay or walk.
