It depends on the writers in after the movie, actually. Some of the episode had him even more stupider than pre-movie Patrick. While he's pretty wise in the other episode. Sure, we want to kill him in A Pal for Gary, Boating Buddies and Boating Smart. Just stay away from most episodes that was written by Casey and Zeus.
