I don’t mean commandeer Faust’s own words for soap boxing (not that it matters, since I didn’t make this), but I think this image makes a good point. I think this is, in a nutshell, part of why the idea of Twilight becoming a princess has been so poorly received so far. However they try to spin it, it’s still playing into the same tired cliche that being a princess is the ultimate thing for a young girl to aspire to.
