Kiki is a little girl who has been fighting (I believe) cancer for a few years now.
I don't remember what the exact connection between her and Kiki was, but Tara has been really spearheading a donation campaign for her (Kiki's Fund) by auctioning off all kinds of merch, usually signed.
Kiki's family has gotten a few thousand dollars in donations from bronies alone and they've been extraordinarily grateful toward the community.
Her dad and sister were actually at EQLA, as I recall.
This is tremendously sad news for anyone who has been following her struggle.
