what I thought during the first episode
1. "20$ says the tall creepy guy who is turning korra against her mentors is the bad guy
2. "Alright we get it dude. Religon is important. Christ he sounds like douche"
3. army invades south pole "HA I FUCKING CALLED IT
4. Last season dealt with terrorism. This one is going to be about separation of church and state. damn they are really getting politcal

He's actually not this season's main villain. Sure he's probably kinda evil, and at the same time has some good points about not messing with spirits (even The Last Airbender made mention of that), but he's not the main villain. That would be the Dark Spirit voiced by Grey Delisie (AKA Azula)
