Before we all get our torches and pitchforks ready:

I'm going to try to get past how jaded I've become towards the direction Meghan's letting Hasbro take the show and just lay down a couple facts.

1) These "Rainbow Power" designs have been used on toys that have been available for about half a year now.

2) Their appearance in the above image is from a foreign commercial for said toys, They are animated, but appear for all of about 2 seconds. The animation sequence is also most likely not ripped from an episode, as Twilight still has the element of magic.

3) If these appear in the show at all, there's also a good chance that they'll be some temporary state-change like the crystal forms.

That said, if these become their permanent forms, good God, Meghan will never hear the end of it.
