I personally prefer healing pyros, as they are much more mobile than heavies. Plus, enemy reaction to a heavy-medic team is usually "Ok guys, lets hide until the spy/sniper takes them out" whereas with a pyro, its usually "herp derp, lets all bunch together and run blindly around this corner that a pyro for sure isn't coming around."
