The Fairly OddParents - I can easily explain why I hate this movie.

You know, I would be able to forgive the movie its flaws if it didn't end the way it did.

Seriously, Timmy being allowed to keep his fairies for no good reason (other than some stupid fucking rule that they put in "Da Rules") was such a huge middle finger in storytelling. The entire story builds up to Timmy having to be an adult, sacrificing his fairies in doing so.

The writers let us think that for about 5 seconds before "Oh hey, we're just fucking with ya! Growing up requiring sacrifices? Nah, man!"

Not only that, Timmy ends up falling in love with Tootie. That makes me really mad. The reason I'm mad because Timmy will end up with Vicky as a sister-in-law. Seriously, why would he make that choice?!? He'll have to deal with her, the babysitter that tormented him and abused him as a family memeber. I was just this mad with the Valentine's Day episode. I wish it was Trixie he ended up with. That was the middle finger to me. But yours is valid too.
