That is the entire point of the helmets. Daft Punk are faceless because they believe that fame is often associated with a face. When this happens, the music loses value and the person gains value. They wear helmets to remain faceless so that the pubilic can focus on the music and not how cute they may or may not be Respect? You wanna talk about respect? They've been in the game since the late 80's and they're STILL gettin awards. Daft Punk is royalty

I'll be honest. I don't know too much about Daft Punk. I don't know their political views or personal ideals. I don't know what they support or what they're against, and I'm only familiar with some of their music.

What I do know however, is that they produced Interstella 5555.

And while I know virtually nothing else about them

I do know that they are passionate about their work.

And while the helmet personas may seem to be played out

Its nice to still see people who really care about their passions.
So in my book, they're cool dudes.
