Jump scares. Few things piss me off as much as jump scares. I started playing through Resi 2 for the first time a while back. I was only about an hour in or so, and I've already had 3 or 4 of the standard "thing jumps through window" deals, and one where I opened a door and there were enemies on the loading screen. Yeah, that sort of thing ruins games for me.
