Retro Futurism - Futurism, Then and Now

You guys forget the best future prediction.

The funny thing is, when it gets to the "future", we don't notice it being different at all (I guess that's kind of obvious).

I mean, modern day tablets and smartphones are basically what people twenty years ago were going crazy about in their predictions. And though now we have them, we don't think "Wow! My smartphone is an amazing piece of technology!" It's more like: "Goddamn it, this thing doesn't even have 5 hours of battery playing HD video? Come on!"
