Steam Workshop Paid Modding - A brief history of Valve

You have a point there, OP, but those mods were meant to be entirely new games. With Skyrim and possibly more games in the future, Valve is targeting little addons that are supposed to still be a part of the main game.

Also didn't they buy Portal from someone else mid development? Like besides Half Life are any of their games actually their own from scratch?
