About

Hello people, I am Adam DeLand. I’m pretty much the one on this site that made it cool to reveal true information and facts about myself. Here are a few things:

  • I’m 21
  • I’m a part-time student at Grand Rapids Communtiy College
  • I’m the eldest of 3 brothers
  • I’m a fan of Pokemon, yet I don’t really care for most of Generation I
  • I’m NOT a furry. However, I am a huge supporter of them, and I want to make sure that they aren’t misunderstood.
  • I am one of the few people that is fighting against the spreading cancer that is My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic

And if you try to put me down, too bad…

Song of the Month

Each month I will post a song from my Music Library to show you which songs I happen to like. The song will most likely fit in with what’s happening during the month.

May Song
Well, it’s may. And here in Holland, that only means one thing: Tulip Time! Now last year I had a song from an artist who’s from this city, but this year I’m going to play a song that I first heard while driving to one of the parades, and for some reason, listening to it reminded me of the Dutch Dance that is so often performed around this time. I don’t know why, it just does that. But anyways, here’s May’s song: “Right Back Where We Started From” by Maxine Nightingale.

>“But thanks to Todd in the Shadows, I have been able to learn more about the music from this band, and discovered that I love this song.”
>“But thanks to Todd in the Shadows…”
>“…Todd in the Shadows…”
>Todd in the Shadows
But that can only mean… another big-time TGWTG fan! TIME TO CELEBRATE

You’re right. But I don’t really like Tom Cruise anyway.

Way to be rude like that. You just disrespected an iconic U.S. hero.

It was more allowed to stay because it was a well written page, not so much because we found it notable enough to get an entry. That’s not a good reason, we can’t go allow a page for a bar of soap simply because the information is solid. Nobody never really got to deadpooling it. But not worries, I asked some other mods for a second opinion first.

It is a nice picture, but my avatar has muffins. Blueberry muffins, Adam. It’s like eating blueberries and muffins at the same time!

p.s. I like U2 too, especially ‘83-’88.

Then I guess you are better off not knowing…

There is an obvious giveaway though, but I am not telling.

Alright, pulling it out of the deadpool for now. But the entry still lacks a lot of work. Wrong embing of images, lack of information and sources to back it up, image gallerly being nearly empty, etc.

I did; I know you already talked to him about it, but I’m not going to undermine him without good reason.

I went over some fandom entries that were listed as a subculture, including certain webcomics. Compared it with the other webcomics we currently have in submission under the webcomics entry. It stood out the least.

If you think it was incorrect, please say why and I’ll look at it again.

Not as it stands, no. Sorry.

Should it get more activity from a lot of varied forum goers or if it got very fast over several days, I’d do it.

You may want to ask Chris or Brucker though. I can’t feature it in good faith, but if they chose to, I wouldn’t go over their decision on it.

Yes. He was my great-great-granduncle. I might be missing another great, but yeah, I’m related to him.
