WASSUP MAH NIGGA
Sorry I didn’t post yesterday! I suppose I owe you two song then, eh?
First, it’s a much lesser-known song by the very well-known Beatles. It features one of my favourite instruments (as well as one I play), the sitar. It’s “Love You To” off the album Revolver.
Next, we have a sad song by my favourite band, Queen. You may have heard it, it’s “Love of My Life” off the album A Night at the Opera.
Let me lick that drawing please
Okay, so for the first day, I chose a song by one of my favourite bands, Pink Floyd. I know it’s a little generic, but I like letting people know that they’re more than just “Wish You Were Here” and “Comfortably Numb.” That’s why I picked a much lesser known song from one of their much lesser known albums, Obscured by Clouds. The song is called “Wot’s… Uh the Deal?”. Hope you enjoy!
Hello music buddy! I’m ready whenever you are, just tell me if you want to make the first post or me!
Hey Chris, it’s no prob. I’m not the biggest fan of rap, but I’ve always respected Wu Tang.
You may or may not know I play the sitar. In case you don’t know, it’s basically a giant twangy Indian guitar. I love how it sounds and how classic rock and pop sound when the sitar is used in it. For today, I picked one of my personal favourite sitar songs, “Within You Without You” off The Beatles’ hugely popular 1967 album, Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. Enjoy!
That was a great song! You know I don’t like pop much, but I’ve always thought Justin Timberlake was different, he always seemed like a great guy to me.
This next song is by The Rolling Stones. I like it because it’s really witty in how the narrator describes himself. He talks about how he’s been there in every moment in time. I think it’s a cool concept. This is “Sympathy for the Devil”.
Okie dokie, Chris. For the first day, I picked a band everyone knows I like. This song is “Time” by Pink Floyd. In case you’ve never heard it, it’s got a very hypnotic intro on rototoms, that’s about two minutes long. The guitar solo is, in my opinion, one of the greatest of all time. I hope you like it! (If you want to skip the intro, skip to 2:26.)
