I only know of one other variant (the “Mother Fucking Cretaceous Period” one) which I just uploaded, but yeah, haven’t seen many variants as yet.

Everyone gets that he’s not a meme guys, you don’t need to keep repeating the fact. The reason for the article is that KYM is more than just a list of memes, it’s also a database tracking their history and explaining their spread. You need to include vectors like RWJ in those explanations, so why wouldn’t we have an entry that encapsulates all that information?

The “studman69” image used for the main pic of this article DOES represent a Fark-specific meme (variants on “look at those sharp elbows” are common in comments) but it’s more specific than the general “I wouldn’t hit it” theme of this article.

Some day I plan to capture a few of the Fark memes and try and put an article together for them: “It’s a streetlight”, “Dude, she’s 12”, The “You think you know about this stuff, but trust me, you don’t” copypasta, “You’ll get over it”, etc

I’ve seen “Clever girl” used as a catchphrase, but not often on image macros. It’s mainly used when discussing the possibility of a velociraptor attack (which is more likely than you think, xkcd, etc)

Frank, that image is from a Fark photoshop competition in 2004, IIRC. It’s a spoof, but got picked up by news sites all over.

You’re right though, this “meme” is not terribly new.

It’s not a meme, it’s a philosophy. A way of life, if you will.
