That’s why I said the core fanbase. Just like the old bronies were pushed out by the new ones, I feel it’s just going to happen again with ponies becoming more and more mainstream. They’re progressively getting worse, just like the original ponyfags felt about you guys. You could say a similar relationship is like 4chan, Reddit, and 9gag, although obviously the most we can do as a community is shed the memes and the mainstream connections that have been bastardized by the other websites. With you guys, it’s not so simple, since ponies are kind of one entity; one fanbase, or at least you guys are viewed as such. Just kind of like how we jumped the ship when you guys came along, I think you guys are going to do the same thing when the 9gag of pony fans comes along. (And please don’t take the 9gag thing so fucking literal. You should understand.)

And honestly, I can’t say this a bad thing. The show is good, but I know for most of you it’s the fanbase that really made the show, and you guys will still be out there. And hey, there’s nothing saying you guys still can’t watch ponies.

I can’t wait until the inevitable shitstorm that arises when the Brony Song starts surfacing up to the masses. Bonus points if KYM posts about it on the front page.

Even if I hate these bastards with a passion, at least it arises in notoriety to where even pony fans can admit they’re bad. I can’t help but think that with each passing day of the pony fanbase, it’s all one more step to the core fanbase imploding and disbanding itself.

Also, when did it honestly become the brony mantra? When the fanbase started, nobody believed in that “love and tolerance” shit. We watched a funny show and had fun with it. Hell, when were the words even uttered in the show? As far as I believe, the phrase originated from the Twilight Sparkle macro “I’m gonna love and tolerate the shit out of you.” That’s a fucking joke, dudes. Let’s not start paying people in rape dollars.

I guess that’s just a trigger phrase of mine, the whole love and tolerance shtick, and especially when it treats the pony fanbase as a whole. Pretty much the whole of the original fanbase is gone due to the new fans and how they’ve treated the show. It may not be to you guys, but to be a pony fan around my people and many others is a mark of shame. I’m just sad to see that happen. But hey, it was bound to happen anyways, right? The show was pretty much a perfect match for mainstream bastardization and widespread appeal.

I dunno, I’m just done talking. I guess I said this was for opinions in the beginning or stuff, but eventually it just turned into a rant and half of you guys are going to call me a troll, anyways. Hup, time to stop getting all philosophical and quit the bullshit.

This is unrelated, and yes, I agree that RainbowDashFanX is fucking stupid… But really, since when is being a Brony all about love and tolerance? Dunno, this is just kind of a pet peeve of mine, but people seem to think that’s all there is to being a fan. Maybe I’m just asking for your guys’ opinions here.

But what is it about you guys and that mantra? It’s a good lesson to know, and kindness is always a good thing. But you guys just seem to take it way too far, to an entirely different level. You watch the show because it’s entertaining, right? At this point it seems more like a worship, going as far as taking a child’s TV show moral message and living it out as your code. It’s kind of like blind following. Morality isn’t really that black and white, and you all seem to be twisting the message to where it applies in every situation. There are people who aren’t gonna fly with that shit, whether they have good intentions or not. It’s a good thing to tolerate, but it isn’t the universal tool to solve everything. Believe it or not, sometimes you have to be rude, forceful to make a point or solve a problem, unfortunately.

I dunno. I can’t say I know how Know Your Meme works too well. Quite honestly, I’m still not sure why people still do the @WhoCaresName thing at the top of the page, but I do it anyways. Does it show up on their feed or do something special? Do some people actually ctrl+F this shit? Hell if I know.

I don’t spend too much time on here. I spend maybe five or ten minutes here a day, sometimes more if there’s something particularly stupid going on.
