We are getting a somewhat elitist attitude from this, but whenever I see those pictures, I think it is more of a joke than stroking an ego as an anon mentioned how kym was reporters in this sort of thing.

As for #GG, there are still twitter wars/ harassment on both sides, a professional reporter is looking into it which a lot of people want since there has been many stories covering the #GG side of this, there was a few twitter accounts of pro #GG that were hacked into, and now 4chan has gotten new mods where they delete just about everything, which a lot of people are moving to 8chan.

You have a right to your opinion and others have a right to dismiss and downvote yours.

Dismissing everyone’s opinion and stating yours is better doesn’t make you any better than the people who supposedly blind to this sort of thing.

Help others understand rather insulting them and pigeon holing a group, for that sort of thing is what caused #GamerGate in the first place.

Insulting and pigeonholing people by labeling them as 12 year olds isn’t really a good excuse because you do not agree with the views of #GamerGate.

You can help tribute to the GamerGate entry if you want if you feel it seems too biased.

When people saw this image on a board I was lurking, this was like combination of lime and salt on a wound to them.

Just wondering: a few people on /v/ are actually collaborating a musical covering the past events that are linked to #GamerGate; most of their songs are pretty catchy
However, I believe they’re PROBABLY NOT using “#GG” in order to avoid having the thread taken off.

Should it be linked to #GamerGate or not?

So she helped him and then stopped because… she wanted to prove that to him and those apart of #GamgerGate that there are good people in the Gaming industry?

The thing that did him in was that with that slap (it looked like a slap to me) which caused her to hit her head on the railing, becoming unconscious. I guess a lot of people expected him to stand there and take it since he is a professional football player, he is almost expected to take he abuse. If he took the abuse, maybe it would have been overlooked, but ironically, with one punch/slap it caused him his entire career.

While this sort of thing brought up the hashtag based on a rather particular sort of issue, it is not sadly given the attention that it needs.

Although I am pro #GG and #NotYourShield, I seriously think #WhyIStayed needs more attention.

This shitstorm is getting too damn big, so damn destructive that probably soon no one on the internet is gong to be safe.
But then, I am sure people outside of the internet will be roped in as well.

Hurricane Zoe will have the same effect as Hurricane Katrina (which I am sure, is saying a lot).

Although the point was a great way to show that depression leaves a toll on a person as well as show how a slight majority (or minority) do not understand depression and how it works.

However the game only showed how depression is; even if you chose the option of seeing a psychiatrist in the game, you were still depressed.

Yes, it is realistic move in gaming, but not everyone wants to feel depressed: I like to believe that Games are a good way to escape depression sometimes.

I agree that the best way to help those understand #GamerGate is more than some “sock puppet” movement created by a website known for being ‘the internet hate machine’ , but if you look at Brianna Wu’s current Tweets, this seems more like a backhanded apology.
Altho due to Poe’s law does play a major toil on things.
