Wow, it’s been a really long time since I updated my wall.Overall I’d say I’m a pretty average netizen. I watch the occasional anime when I have time, my traditional favorites being Trigun, Neon Genesis Evangelion, and Starblazers (Uchuu Senkan Yamato). Also, as you can tell by my avatar, I’m a fan of MLP (though I try my best to not be obnoxious about it), and western cartoons/animation in general.
As far as gaming goes, I see myself gravitate primarily towards the indie and retro circles, though of course I love the occasional triple AAA release. I like strategy games such as Dwarf Fortress and the Civilization series, most games that Valve makes, and really anything that looks fun. These days I mostly do my gaming through Steam, and if you want to friend me here’s my profile:
I’ve always been really interested in internet culture, I think it’s really fascinating to observe how things spread and mutate over time. That’s why I’ve loved KYM so much.
Within the MLP fandom, I enjoy all the fantastic fan content our artists create. I don’t watch as many videos or listen to as much music as I used to, but I still dabble in those. Primarily these days I’m into the art and fanfiction.
Speaking of fanfiction, my only real claim to fame in this fandom would be my story, I Wasn’t Prepared For This. It received a far better reaction than I ever could have hoped for. Still, things IRL have held me back from continuing it for a long time, though I hope to bring it out of hiatus very soon.
Love it when that happens.
Based upon that short animation the Hub released for EqG a week ago, it appears that they’re going the “seen not heard” approach to her character.
I’d love to keep it that way. I like the idea of a musician who’s voice we never hear. Leave the talking to the fan stuff.
Well, it might not be brand spanking new, but since no one in the western world seems to know this show exists… check out Yamato 2199!
A remake of the classic Uchuu Senkan Yamato from back in the late 70s. High budget, filled with lots of love, great action and a story that has stood up pretty well after 40 years.
Trailer (sorry, couldn’t find a decent upload that had subs):
How does a movie mispronounce the main character’s fucking name?!
Spike, you done fucked up.
Now what is Cadence going to think?
All of these were done so well.
That last image. I just… it’s beautiful. :’)
Oh would you look at that, our newest shipment just arrived!
Derpibooru and Fimficton: Nic Cage + Zuckerburg OTP.
Oh my god I fucking loved this show back in the day.
Darth Vader versus Vermin Supreme, 2016 presidential election.
It helps if you stand back and look at the image from far away.
Goddamn Magcargo, fuck!
This is absolutely awesome.
Glad to see that Coraline made it into this, that’s one of my favorite movies.
Good ol’ Kajetokun. 2006-era nostalgia.
And unlike most Internet in Real Life sort of deals, it’s actually not terrible. I was pleasantly surprised after watching it a few times to discover that it’s not just some kind of meme parade with shitty commentary like Tosh.0.
It’s genuinely clever and enjoyable to watch.
“La vie est drôle… Life is indeed amusing.”
“Fuck this shitty game! I need a drink…”
I love it when people try to use analogies to support their position but just end up creating a huge pile of logical fallacies that falls down under the lightest amount of scrutiny.
Not gonna lie, that’s pretty hot.
I remember when people like MenloMarseilles and PensivePony had the entire show’s worth of episodes uploaded. Hell, the Pilot episode of S1 had over a million views!
Seemed like it wasn’t until the latter half of S2, not even until S3 that Hasbro started really cracking down hard on episode uploads. I guess the franchise became successful enough that they started caring about it.
The definition of adorable.
