Wow, it’s been a really long time since I updated my wall.Overall I’d say I’m a pretty average netizen. I watch the occasional anime when I have time, my traditional favorites being Trigun, Neon Genesis Evangelion, and Starblazers (Uchuu Senkan Yamato). Also, as you can tell by my avatar, I’m a fan of MLP (though I try my best to not be obnoxious about it), and western cartoons/animation in general.
As far as gaming goes, I see myself gravitate primarily towards the indie and retro circles, though of course I love the occasional triple AAA release. I like strategy games such as Dwarf Fortress and the Civilization series, most games that Valve makes, and really anything that looks fun. These days I mostly do my gaming through Steam, and if you want to friend me here’s my profile:
I’ve always been really interested in internet culture, I think it’s really fascinating to observe how things spread and mutate over time. That’s why I’ve loved KYM so much.
Within the MLP fandom, I enjoy all the fantastic fan content our artists create. I don’t watch as many videos or listen to as much music as I used to, but I still dabble in those. Primarily these days I’m into the art and fanfiction.
Speaking of fanfiction, my only real claim to fame in this fandom would be my story, I Wasn’t Prepared For This. It received a far better reaction than I ever could have hoped for. Still, things IRL have held me back from continuing it for a long time, though I hope to bring it out of hiatus very soon.
I was born with ankyloglossia, so my family took me in to have the doctors surgically cut it back to fix my tongue when I was three months old. It was a ‘permanent removal of a part of my body’, ‘against my will’ and ‘largely irreparable’.
But it wasn’t mutilation. Just like a proper circumcision is not mutilation. You’re using buzzwords to sensationalize an issue, buddy.
Literally every surgical procedure known to modern science involves risks. But if the benefits to the general public far outweigh the damage caused in a few unique, inconsistent cases, these risks are not a valid reason to say we shouldn’t do it.
Circumcision improves hygiene, reduces the chance of HIV and STDs in general, results in decreased risk of urinary tract infections, and protects against penile cancer.
The negative factors are a supposed lowering of sexual pleasure, and the risks of ‘mutilation’. That first one is very subjective, and the latter can be prevented by just seeing a decent doctor.
Got any more?
I heard that the reason for the name is because sophomores are old enough to think they’re smart, but still young and inexperienced enough to be foolish.
“Can’t wear clothes marketed towards men or women”
Well, first of all, pretty sure “can’t” is hyperbole. I mean, unless ‘agender’ means you’re some kind of eldritch tentacle monster, human clothes should fit you pretty well.
And if you are an eldritch tentacle monster, would you mind telling me what you’re doing on Tumblr?
Activists against circumcision sound just like aggressive vegans. They exaggerate the situation being described by dumping heaps of negatively connotative words into the discussion.
Just like vegans use words like ‘murder’ to describe the act of eating meat, these activists say things like ‘mutilation’ when describing a surgical procedure. It’s lazy and misleading, and I don’t like it one bit.
They look strangely cute in motion.
In related news, this was one of the greatest movies I’ve ever seen.
Akira was pretty damn hype.
Twitch Makes Modern Art.
Yes please, somebody do this immediately. An entire gallery made by Twitch chat using different mediums/programs to create uniquely chaotic pieces.
Uploaded an image to Dwarf Fortress.

HOLY FUCKING SHIT!
The immediate example that comes to mind is TF2.
The german version has all blood and gore removed, with injury/damage censored to imply that the characters are robots instead of humans (bullet wounds look like bullet holes in metal, or something).
I don’t even know what to say.
Shocked and saddened. Very shocked.
Added a video to 2014 Ebola Outbreak.
Here’s a pretty good summary video of the Ebola virus and its implications:
Now, I’m going to imagine that each and every ‘I am Groot’ from the film was an extremely detailed and epic god-tier speech, inside Groot’s head.
Also, amen to the notes.
I played Dynasty Warriors 5 and 6, and they were pretty enjoyable games. I expect this to be pretty awesome.
