This is Legend of Korra, Not Last Airbender. On screen deaths are more than approved…

Actually it’s the guy’s wife who just happened to be turned around and super exposed in the pic that ends up with hrs entirely white except her hair. The fact that it looks like an astronaut is purely coinincedental, but then again who wouldn’t wanna be an astronaut?

Once again proof that airbending is the most powerful of the four. Remember that scene with gyatso’s body surrounded with comet charged firebenders? And let’s not forget korra kicking the wind out of Amon.

Not sure if m night wanted to butcher last airbender to prevent any more anime adaptations, or he seriously just read the episode summery on Wikipedia and said “fuck it I’ll make a lot of money off of this shit!”

Very interesting on how each villain represents the cautionary tale of the extremes done by the main four political ideologies. Amon represents the extreme of statism by pushing socialism and eventually communism in a way of elimination. Tarlok took conservatism into becoming a neo-con by pushing his own religious views and even made a deal with the devil(kinda) to get his way with authoritative rightism. Zaheer and the red lotus took libertarianism and went full anarchist by way of force and even murder, just to eliminate his foes. And kuvira I see as the liberal who takes progressive pride by forcing nationalism on the earth kingdom, showing them that without her, they couldn’t survive. Each ideology has it’s pros and cons, and it’s up to each of us to see the balance of them all. When you go to each extreme, it only leads to worse things. But that’s just my opinion.

Korea should be able to manipulate all the elements and create an atomic shell which could detonate but prevent her from dying. Ultimate weapon right there.

Commented on Kuvira's Army

As a member of the Military this has confused me a lot. Why Is a person like Bolin(a rare lava bender, also a right hand man to Kurvira) only a corporal(in the USAF, it is equal to my rank and no SrA holds that kind of position). I’m sill looking out for Officer ranks. I feel like Kurvira would be that of a Field Marshall or the General of the Army, essentially a military leader so powerful they are also the overall leader, a more direct commander in chief. We can only hope they touch a little more on the ranking structures, we have only seen bits and pieces on each military force in both shows, and this is the most modern one.

Also, another question that has been burning me. Why does the earth kingdom have to be a kingdom? If they created the united republic, why can’t the earth kingdom be a democracy or a republic in their own. If you look at history, you’ll see that republics began to rise after the USA came into being, and within a couple centuries, empires, kingdoms, military dictatorships are the minority when compared to democracies and republics. The united republic is a reflection of the USA in the show, so I am wondering why the earth kingdom is so adamant about going back to a kingdom state, especially when its choices are two extremes like Kurvira and Wu.
