But ya, I don’t think to origin of Weegee came from the box art. Rather it came from the DOS version of the game where the sprite of Luigi looks like Weegee.

More like a YTP fad than an actual meme. Though I do believe that some of the more popular YTP fads should be mentioned in the YTP section.

Ah Dr. L337. I remember him. If I recall he was just a user who was just forcing himself into the community (forced meme). However, Dr. L337 ended up having a pretty big influence on YTMND, with many Dr. L337 related sites popping up. Most of these were either just variations of the whole Dr. L337 joke, or just site showing how much people hated the guy and the forced meme that came out of it.

Well whatever the case may be, this entry still needs alot of work done if it’s ever going to be accepted.
