Another bad side is that now on tumblr there’s been a spambot going around with the classic “video” virus with some guy in a pig mask that’s taking advantage of CISPA claiming that the (spam) posts want to “help stop it,” which is a load of crap in that it’s just messing up people’s tumblrs and not doing really anything against CISPA.

I’d change it from subculture to meme. Also to help state the presence of crossovers on the internet, I’d make mention of things like Sonichu.

I can’t believe that this is one of the heroes of every childhood in a generation. In my heart I still want to think that the real Amanda is held hostage somewhere, still with long brown hair, and the spawn of Snooki over here is an actress who’s taking her place until she can escape.

And you’re feeling underacknowledged because you were skipped out on one time in a million?

Also, those Facebook comments are just as bad if not worse. “YEAH THEY WEREN’T MENTIONED YOU LOSE BRONIES ANTIBRONY POWAH!!”

It’s already easy to see and basically been said, but this looks like just a Kongregate in-joke that tried to get forced to memedom and failed. Deadpool and get it off the trending.

If you wrote this story yourself, it isn’t a meme. Creepypasta as a whole could be seen as a meme, but one story that you wrote yourself isn’t spread around the internet (especially if you first posted it on KYM,) and shouldn’t have an entry.

If you want people to read your story, post it on other sites that are made specifically for stories like this, or start a story thread on really just about any site you could think of.

While it can be used as an insult really broadly, I find that it usually seems to be aimed by 4channers against the “REDDIT MINECRAFT TF2 PWNAGE WITH MUH WAIFU RAINBOW DASH XD” stereotype.

You forgot about the part at the end where you repost 3 line long messages every 20 minutes about how anyone who disagrees with you is “self-labeled and wants to spread hate” or some bullshit.

That really happens on the social justice tag; look it up.

I love how these comments are more about the relateds than they are the image itself.

If we’re talking about the image galleries, I’m in the same boat as Tardises.

Since like 90% of the images on KYM are in the pony gallery (not even joking,) it’s more than likely that tagged images will also have ponies, and thus match tags with unrelated pictures.
