I’d change it from subculture to meme. Also to help state the presence of crossovers on the internet, I’d make mention of things like Sonichu.
I can’t believe that this is one of the heroes of every childhood in a generation. In my heart I still want to think that the real Amanda is held hostage somewhere, still with long brown hair, and the spawn of Snooki over here is an actress who’s taking her place until she can escape.
As I already said elsewhere,
Okay so apparently the Boston Bomb’s already gotten half-assed remakes with Spongebob and Ponies and shit. Are you fucking kidding me? An 8 year old died, a guy’s leg got fucking blown off, and I heard a man’s girlfriend was killed right when he was going to propose to her. I know damn well the rule that the internet isn’t supposed to be taken seriously, but my God. You’re not only being an unfunny asshole, you’re even insulting the people who enjoy whatever you’re using to satirize terrorism. If you got your fucking leg blasted off, would you enjoy having Mr. Krabs and Fluttershy shopped into photos of your misery? Fuck this. Stephen Hillenburg and Lauren Faust are probably saying fuck this too.
I’m cringing at the fact that “PONIZ ARENT HEER” is the biggest discussion for this.
Bronies, you’ve already been acknowledged in almost every other mashup, been noticed by CollegeHumor before, have several different conventions in your honor alone; you’ve had a story on CNN for Christ’s sake. And you’re feeling underacknowledged because you were skipped out on one time in a million?
Also, those Facebook comments are just as bad if not worse. “YEAH THEY WEREN’T MENTIONED YOU LOSE BRONIES ANTIBRONY POWAH!!”
It’s already easy to see and basically been said, but this looks like just a Kongregate in-joke that tried to get forced to memedom and failed. Deadpool and get it off the trending.
If you wrote this story yourself, it isn’t a meme. Creepypasta as a whole could be seen as a meme, but one story that you wrote yourself isn’t spread around the internet (especially if you first posted it on KYM,) and shouldn’t have an entry.
If you want people to read your story, post it on other sites that are made specifically for stories like this, or start a story thread on really just about any site you could think of.
The horse was funny for a little while.
Then the horse was beaten to death.
Then the horse was beaten after death.
Then the horse was beaten into its grave.
Now the horse’s grave is getting pissed on.
When have Youtube commenters ever been classy, or even shown intelligence for that matter?
While it can be used as an insult really broadly, I find that it usually seems to be aimed by 4channers against the “REDDIT MINECRAFT TF2 PWNAGE WITH MUH WAIFU RAINBOW DASH XD” stereotype.
You forgot about the part at the end where you repost 3 line long messages every 20 minutes about how anyone who disagrees with you is “self-labeled and wants to spread hate” or some bullshit.
That really happens on the social justice tag; look it up.
Those Facebook comments.
I love how these comments are more about the relateds than they are the image itself.
If we’re talking about the image galleries, I’m in the same boat as Tardises.
Since like 90% of the images on KYM are in the pony gallery (not even joking,) it’s more than likely that tagged images will also have ponies, and thus match tags with unrelated pictures.

I will never forget Sword Base.
They didn’t even bother cropping out the memegenerator watermark…
Speaking of this, how’s that Kickstarter for 3Doodler doing?
I may not normally agree with AA, but he sure seems more rational than the tumblr feminazis.
