I’m pretty sure an offensive name like that is not going to catch on anywhere but /b/. Everywhere else is just referring to it as “Kanye interrupts _____”.

I think it’d be difficult to find an actual picture/video of an abstract concept like this. But something that came to mind while writing this is the Family Guy episode involving “Never Gonna Give You Up” that many mistakenly believe spawned Rickrolling. Perhaps that clip could be used?

Yeah, regarding the Seinfeld Effect article, analyzing trends and the like is something I enjoy doing, so I’d like to look into things like that in the future as well.

I think the article should note that a lot of them are only funny because they’re out of context, not because some creepy person is typing these into Google. The “why is there a dead Pakistani on my couch” one is a quote from Lost, for example.
