WHO ARE YOU PEOPLE!? Please post on my wall and introduce yourself. If I don’t really know you or talk to you, I will not friend you. If you are still just embarrassingly sitting in my follow list then it is because I have no idea who you are and I find it awkward. If you seek to change that then socialize!

“I am the one that creeps in the registry
Filling your processes with horror and despair
As I lay waste to all unsaved progress in my path
The cowards bow down and reboot before me
I am the error of terror
I am the fatal exception of deception
Fear me for I am the Blue Screen of DEATH

I’m some 20 something in New Zealand who makes websites

I still love my old school games from the 90’s but today I’m into TF2, Starcraft 2 and Urban Terror. Find me on Steam, same name there as here

Ponies and Homestuck. If you hate those, too bad. But I’m cool with other fandoms too. I don’t like getting into fandom wars
Also Carl Sagan is best pony

I’m into mostly DnB, followed by Trance but I’m interested in most forms of electronic.
Black Sun Empire, Concord Dawn and State of Mind are my favorites. But there’s a few bands I like that are not electro such as Rammstien, Disturbed and System of a Down. I just like electro more.

Sometimes I draw shit. I’m terrible at it.
But hey, at least my pony OC was not drawn with some pony creator program"

I’m all about the code. It’s probably what I’m best known for here
I’m one the people responsible for all the dudes with different looking profiles lately. Yea, I started the trend apparently. All the changes on this page are my work and everyone else copied me.
But visual tweaks is not all I do. I’m a trained intermediate web developer who knows PHP programming inside and out. I work freelance for anyone who needs a website

I browse KYM because its a fast way to follow what’s happening in internet culture. Net culture fascinates me and how differently it works compared to every other culture in the world despite being part of every other culture in the world. Plus I like the discussions we have here

I like sci-fi. But not the “UFO blows up New York” crap, I mean real sci-fi such as Star Trek, Stargate, Aliens, Predator…you know all that stuff from before Hollywood ran out of ideas. Then again the internet is pretty much my TV nowadays. The following summarizes my modern TV experience:

Obligatory profile music. Actually I don’t listen to music, I listen to explosions. CRANK UP YOUR SUBWOOFER!

@CrashGordon

That’s Kankri. He’s Hussies interpretation of social justice bloggers and while he doesn’t find everything offensive to himself, he thinks he has the responsibility to censor everything that could possible be interpreted as offensive and goes out of his way to bubble-wrap other people’s sensitivities whether they actually take offense to something or not.

The ultimate party pooper, an overprotective white knight and just a pussy-ass-bitch in general. He takes preventive measures to ensure everything stays as politically correct and inoffensive as possible, straying to absolutely ridiculous, obnoxious and unnecessary lengths to do so

And frankly, since the woman at the E3 presentation was not offended and never asked for anyone to rush to her defense: Some might say that people are acting like Kankri right now

‘Rape’ is used in typical gamer lingo to express outclassing other players. It’s ugly. But so are the constant F words thrown about and people being murdered on screen.

Was it a dumb thing for the presenter to say? Yes. But calling every single gamer a chauvinistic female-hating sleaze over it is unwarranted

Quite possibly. That’s some fine piano work. No really.

Now add a toddler with a hammer, an autotuned car horn, an extended fart sequence and a chipmunk trying to rap and you have conventional dubstep. Hahaha. I’m kidding No I’m not

Anyway, I can’t claim to know the best of Dubstep, it’s only the 3rd most common genre I listen to. I just like to bitch about it. But if theres someone you should take inspiration from, I would go with Ital Tek, my absolutely favorite in the field. Check out his songs. have a listen and recognize the conventions he follows.

While Ital Tek does Liquid Dubstep there’s also the aspect of making Heavy/energetic Dubstep. For that I recommend Phutureprimitive, but I’d start with Ital since you will hate yourself less for listening to him

Great example here:

No random drop…no chipmunks…no farts or scratching…the bass is deep but not too hard…it kinda sounds euphoric and atmospheric…soothing even. But how is that possible for the genre known for sounding as irritating as possible? Surely this isn’t dubstep?

But it is. It’s just dubstep done right. A kind you rarely hear. Take notes on the beat (always 2step for dubstep), the amount of variation (use repetitive sequences, but change it regularly, integrate smoothly between), the pitch and tones used (Mostly deep) and range of instruments (You CAN use pianos and violins. Other dubstep artists have done this)

I think you will be perfect as a dubstep artist because all you need to know is what TO do. You already know what NOT to do. You know exactly what it is about dubstep that’s so annoying, so just avoid those pitfalls. None of those things you heard in Skrillex songs define dubstep. You don’t need them. Just use the beat and your imagination

I’m not too sure. But I think there is a way to control what docs in your drive can be seen and what ones cannot. See Document Visibility. Or maybe just use a separate Google Drive with a different privacy setting.

Sorry that we couldn’t grant you the permission you seeked. It was starting to become apparent that jimmies were getting rustled and we just can’t have that. But even if you weren’t upsetting people, we couldn’t make you an exception to the rules anyway.

Personally, I totally encourage you to complete your fic. I find it hilarious and I love people who make original content. But hey, mods gotta make choices that respect everyones needs, including those who just want to hear pony news/developments and not OC interaction
