I’m some 20 something in New Zealand who makes websites

I still love my old school games from the 90’s but today I’m into TF2, Starcraft 2 and Urban Terror. Find me on Steam, same name there as here

Ponies and Homestuck. If you hate those, too bad. But I’m cool with other fandoms too. I don’t like getting into fandom wars

I’m into mostly DnB, followed by Trance but I’m interested in most forms of electronic.
Black Sun Empire, Concord Dawn and State of Mind are my favorites. But there’s a few bands I like that are not electro such as Rammstien, Disturbed and System of a Down. I just like electro more.

I’m all about the code. It’s probably what I’m best known for here
I’m one the people responsible for all the dudes with different looking profiles lately. Yea, I started the trend apparently. All the changes on this page are my work and everyone else copied me.
But visual tweaks is not all I do. I’m a trained intermediate web developer who knows PHP programming inside and out. I work freelance for anyone who needs a website

I browse KYM because its a fast way to follow what’s happening in internet culture. Net culture fascinates me and how differently it works compared to every other culture in the world despite being part of every other culture in the world. Plus I like the discussions we have here

I like sci-fi. But not the “UFO blows up New York” crap, I mean real sci-fi such as Star Trek, Stargate, Aliens, Predator…you know all that stuff from before Hollywood ran out of ideas. Then again the internet is pretty much my TV nowadays. The following summarizes my modern TV experience:

I’m glad to see your profile back, and you taking advantage of the spoiler button feature. :)

Anyway, I’ll try to get mine back. Somehow. Since my profile was mainly some fancy buttons (alerts, date display, audio, etc.), the spoiler thing probably won’t work for me. Maybe I’ll try Pastehtml.com, since it’s really useful for sharing HTML and stuff. :3

Best advice about editorships I can muster up is:
Try to get editorships to entires that are relevant to your interests. If it is something you like the more likely you will have something to input, or more willing to find information on it.

But seriously, I was in the IRC when the phisher in question was using the scripted profile. Unfortunately, it’s in everyone’s interest to take it off.

I saw your post on RandomMan’s wall about it, BTW. I know very little about scripting and programming, so it was really interesting to read. Glad to hear you aren’t that mad about it.

Anyway, I suppose if you want, you can put something on Pastebin, give a link to the paste on your profile, and tell people to go to Notepad and save it as a .html file (or go to http://www.csgnetwork.com/htmlcodetest.html and paste it). But obviously, I’m not sure how many people would do it. So, meh.

You can still use custom CSS styles or other HTML on your profile (check Katie’s wall for example). But you are simly no longer allowed to use scripts due to that security risk.

I hope you understand.

We had some issues with spammers who abused it to set up a redirect to a fake login screen, most likely to steal login information, whenever you visited their wall. James therefore disabled it to stop the script from working and to allow us to actually ban them.

Yeah, that was, in fact, done on a phone. The Galaxy Note II, to be exact, which does have this sort of stylus with Wacom technology or something. And did I mention it’s bloody huge? Seriously, it covers my entire side face when I make a call, and I practically have to hold it with two hands to avoid dropping it. Me likey :D.

Wanted to test it out, and why not give my old pal BSOD back at KYM a little early Christmas present? They have that in New Zealand right (inb4 jewish)? I mean, you’d expect them to move it to July or something so it would be more appropriately wintery, but I guess Jesus’s birthday is not to be trifled with. Anyways, it took about 2 hours to make, so y’all better be appreciative.
