WHO ARE YOU PEOPLE!? Please post on my wall and introduce yourself. If I don’t really know you or talk to you, I will not friend you. If you are still just embarrassingly sitting in my follow list then it is because I have no idea who you are and I find it awkward. If you seek to change that then socialize!

“I am the one that creeps in the registry
Filling your processes with horror and despair
As I lay waste to all unsaved progress in my path
The cowards bow down and reboot before me
I am the error of terror
I am the fatal exception of deception
Fear me for I am the Blue Screen of DEATH

I’m some 20 something in New Zealand who makes websites

I still love my old school games from the 90’s but today I’m into TF2, Starcraft 2 and Urban Terror. Find me on Steam, same name there as here

Ponies and Homestuck. If you hate those, too bad. But I’m cool with other fandoms too. I don’t like getting into fandom wars
Also Carl Sagan is best pony

I’m into mostly DnB, followed by Trance but I’m interested in most forms of electronic.
Black Sun Empire, Concord Dawn and State of Mind are my favorites. But there’s a few bands I like that are not electro such as Rammstien, Disturbed and System of a Down. I just like electro more.

Sometimes I draw shit. I’m terrible at it.
But hey, at least my pony OC was not drawn with some pony creator program"

I’m all about the code. It’s probably what I’m best known for here
I’m one the people responsible for all the dudes with different looking profiles lately. Yea, I started the trend apparently. All the changes on this page are my work and everyone else copied me.
But visual tweaks is not all I do. I’m a trained intermediate web developer who knows PHP programming inside and out. I work freelance for anyone who needs a website

I browse KYM because its a fast way to follow what’s happening in internet culture. Net culture fascinates me and how differently it works compared to every other culture in the world despite being part of every other culture in the world. Plus I like the discussions we have here

I like sci-fi. But not the “UFO blows up New York” crap, I mean real sci-fi such as Star Trek, Stargate, Aliens, Predator…you know all that stuff from before Hollywood ran out of ideas. Then again the internet is pretty much my TV nowadays. The following summarizes my modern TV experience:

Obligatory profile music (Not autoplayed for your conveni- boom pow pow pow ba bam pa pow pow ba boom pa pow pow ba bam pa pow pow boom budda boom budda boom budda boom budda goddam do I love evil music):

I see a lot of people like the clock….

Well I guess I should get around to adding it to my profile then.

I’ve spoken with Advance, and he’s certainly been really cooperative. He knows the general criteria for what’s explicit, and I haven’t had any reports coming from his uploads recently.

There have been some questions about some users posting too much suggestive material, but no one’s suggested how many is too many, so I’m not going to enforce that. As long as explicit media aren’t uploaded and suggestive stuff is generally marked, I can work with that.

Also, don’t feel like you have to tell people. But if you want to respond to a comment, feel free to direct them to me or tell them how you interpret the moderators’ stance.

“I suppose that highlights a bigger part of the problem. That while we know there’s a solid line drawn at explicit material; many of us have different interpretations of what explicit means.

“I talked about explicit being the clear visibility of taboo objects, what do you think?"

There had been a somewhat lacking conversation among moderators on what is NSFW/suggestive, but we generally agreed that explicit means:

-Genitalia and other body parts (e.g., anus, nipples)
-Excessive blood (beyond that of a paper cut or a minor scrape)
-Gore (e.g., internal organs exposed, gashes on humans or animals, etc.)
-Other bodily fluids (e.g., vomit, scat, semen, etc.)
-Sexual acts that are obvious “on-screen” (even if the genitalia in action is just off-screen)

So Advance’s image would be explicit, but reading “Oh! Oh God, YES!!!” off-screen in quotes would just be suggestive or even SFW. Adding "I’m coming! or “F*** me!” would certainly make it suggestive or even too suggestive.

I’m not getting too much guidance on what is suggestive from administration or other moderators, even when I ask for it, so as long as it seems like the uploader is trying to adhere to guidelines, I wouldn’t dare punish them. Explicit media is fairly cut and dry (as described, at least.)

Howdy,

About Advance’s image with the off-screen use of the vibrator, that is actually explicit, especially considering the nature of the FiM entry (being safe and not having to do with any sexual originally.) If the meme itself had to do with dildos or something, then it might have been fine. But I did delete it.

Just in case it comes up again, that’s just on the other side of the NSFW tag.

It is not that I think its bad to be different, its that I feel that norms exist for a reason, even though I am extremely abnormal. Just somethings, but not much. Im pretty easy going, save just a few more morals than most here in a new age society.
I guess my most outstanding issue is I feel I’m an outcast by anyone’s standards, like I feel that there’s a huge distrust between me and everyone else. I’m also not phased out by self-sacrifice, seeing it as a noble thing, compared to everyone else around me (interwebz and irl) who calls me an idiot.
I suppose another issue is my soft-spokeness, like I won’t speak my mind if it could insult anyone. When I do, it comes out very wierd and I feel it makes me a total douche.
I jut don’t know exactly.

Yeah, I’m alright. I just don’t get a lot of sleep anymore, I stress out over upcoming things, I’m tired in general, and I just get in gloomy, philisophical moods.

I feel like Colonel Kurtz from Apocalypse Now sometimes

but I’m okay; don’t worry

Yeah, I’m alright. Just don’t get a lot of sleep, been stressing out a bit lately, and am generally in a gloomy mood. But I’m alright, friend.

I’ll bet my left appendix (nosrsly you have two) that you’ve probably looked up Semmelweis already, and my other if you didn’t hit Google instantaneously, but basically Semmelweis was this guy who noticed that women who had their children delivered by trained professionals were dropping like flies from puerperal fever, about twice as many as those those who had their children delivered by midwives (mostly prostitutes). It got so bad that women would purposefully give birth on the streets so they would be spared the possibility of being assigned to the doctors. Semmelweis linked this to the fact that the doctors had been working with corpses, then immediately proceeded to give birth, and offered the simple remedy of (wait for it) washing their hands in between. And what do you know, it worked, and puerperal fever rates dropped drastically. So you’d imagine that he’d be hailed as a hero right? Save the kids, save the mothers, save the world!

But wait, we’re doctors--gentlemen. How can our hands be unclean? Never mind the fact that the women we take care of are dying, it just doesn’t add up. That’s just not how it works at all (this was before germ theory so people were like doi). And of course, Semmelweis, being the crazy Austrian guy he was (there seem to be quite a few of them) started publicly attacking all his detractors and calling them idiots and unfit to practice, which naturally only made it worse, seeing as he had no scientific proof to back his claims up. Other than people were dying less. That’s not the important thing at all.

He ended up being confined to a asylum by his own relatives and then was beaten to death by guards, having contracted (here’s the funny part) septicemia.

So yeah, us medical people have always been pretty sketchy. Watch out.

you are now being transported 12 days back in time

A single university can’t hold an entire medical industry, silly.

Or can it?

UCLA does have a really great medical center. If you ever get mauled by a flock of rabid kiwis or whatever you crazy kiwis have (lucked out over Australia didn’t you), take a long flight over here and I’ll fix you up in a jiffy.

I’ve always dream of working with babies. Not so much the actual birth process, since I’ve found that to be rather disconcerting (who knew a entire human being could come out of such a small opening shudders), but you know, one of those nurses that play with the babies and take care of them and sit next to the mothers and tell them just how beautiful their children are and watch them all blossom in their first few weeks and stuff. Obviously, there’s a lot more to it, and believe me, it is hard work. I can’t say I enjoy every second of it, but it never ceases to be, well, magical. It’s almost like I’m re-enacting that scene from the Lion King where the monkey/mandrill thing holds Simba over a cliff and then he’s all like ooh and there’s Elton John singing in the background every day.

Or at least, that’s what I’ll be doing after I finish all this bloody schoolwork. I just want to graduate dammit. I don’t see how half of this stuff is relevant to what I’ll be doing.

I do not using steam so don’t be upset :)
Yes.. Not sure why had your banner thread been closed. But no worries.. You can post the banner to my wall.. If you want it..
As a maritime student i am sure that my job will be harden than yours. My school has a half-military education system. I am really busy with my courses and there is a lot of things to learn. Well, i were busy all the time because of that. But still, no regrets. I am really happy with my choice. I will across all the ocean and see whole the world. I am really happy. I’m going to do an internship at the summer.

I have no idea about this “website making” stuff. But everyone knows you are the best ;)
