WHO ARE YOU PEOPLE!? Please post on my wall and introduce yourself. If I don’t really know you or talk to you, I will not friend you. If you are still just embarrassingly sitting in my follow list then it is because I have no idea who you are and I find it awkward. If you seek to change that then socialize!

“I am the one that creeps in the registry
Filling your processes with horror and despair
As I lay waste to all unsaved progress in my path
The cowards bow down and reboot before me
I am the error of terror
I am the fatal exception of deception
Fear me for I am the Blue Screen of DEATH

I’m some 20 something in New Zealand who makes websites

I still love my old school games from the 90’s but today I’m into TF2, Starcraft 2 and Urban Terror. Find me on Steam, same name there as here

Ponies and Homestuck. If you hate those, too bad. But I’m cool with other fandoms too. I don’t like getting into fandom wars
Also Carl Sagan is best pony

I’m into mostly DnB, followed by Trance but I’m interested in most forms of electronic.
Black Sun Empire, Concord Dawn and State of Mind are my favorites. But there’s a few bands I like that are not electro such as Rammstien, Disturbed and System of a Down. I just like electro more.

Sometimes I draw shit. I’m terrible at it.
But hey, at least my pony OC was not drawn with some pony creator program"

I’m all about the code. It’s probably what I’m best known for here
I’m one the people responsible for all the dudes with different looking profiles lately. Yea, I started the trend apparently. All the changes on this page are my work and everyone else copied me.
But visual tweaks is not all I do. I’m a trained intermediate web developer who knows PHP programming inside and out. I work freelance for anyone who needs a website

I browse KYM because its a fast way to follow what’s happening in internet culture. Net culture fascinates me and how differently it works compared to every other culture in the world despite being part of every other culture in the world. Plus I like the discussions we have here

I like sci-fi. But not the “UFO blows up New York” crap, I mean real sci-fi such as Star Trek, Stargate, Aliens, Predator…you know all that stuff from before Hollywood ran out of ideas. Then again the internet is pretty much my TV nowadays. The following summarizes my modern TV experience:

Obligatory profile music (Not autoplayed for your conveni- boom pow pow pow ba bam pa pow pow ba boom pa pow pow ba bam pa pow pow boom budda boom budda boom budda boom budda goddam do I love evil music):

Mt. Eden.

A dubstep team.

From New Zealand.

Please tell me I’m understanding your post incorrectly and these guys are like your favourite band evar. Please.

This track specifically.

The deliciously done beats and the subdued wubs, combined with the ethereal vocals and faint orchestral backdrop are simply indescribable.
But you knew that.

Oh you. I’m sure you wouldn’t like half of the bands I listen to on a regular basis. The other half, well, I’d withhold them were we paired up, instead opting to introduce you to a bunch of Canadian and British indie pop/rock bands.

You know I just discovered Mt. Eden on Pandora. I thought it odd that dubstep would appear on The xx radio, but I stood corrected. Pretty sick stuff. They do the wubs perfectly, actually adding to the aural ambience instead of just raping your ear drums.

I also happened to have a entire dub album in iTunes long before dubstep went mainstream. I don’t know if that gives me street cred, or just makes me a hipster, but here’s a track if you wanna listen.

I guess taking the step out of dubstep makes it that much yummier,

Nah, it’s no big deal. If it makes you feel any better, I posted a much better comment on the page a couple weeks back. “Is it kind of ironic that the most popular meme is about being really UNpopular?”
So, whatever. At least I know to check this kind of thing in the future. :)

Where did I get the words? I’d like to say that I possess an immense vocabulary and was able to retrieve them through simple recall, but unfortunately I use this site.

Sorry about that, This is actually the first time I found out about the controversy and I thought it was still going. Still, you didn’t have to smack it on my wall!

That’s the one. Also I’m not taking pictures – the promoter usually does that. I’ll let you know when they get uploaded.

But yeah. It’ll be one of those times when I get home at like 4 am and have to wake up for school two hours later. It should be quite amazing.

On that btw, I love your menu function that allows visitors to switch between themes. If a person is annoyed by a theme, he can just switch it off and the next time he visits the wall it’s still gone. It a perfect solution for both sides of the argument.

Unfortunately not everyone is using this option.

True, subtle stuff isn’t really bothered with, same for me. When bringing it up in the IRC, it was the general opinion as well we shouldn’t really bother with it as long as it doesn’t go overkill.

But when it reaches the levels of for example Twins’ Jamie Dubs or Alejandro’s previous “Rev up those fryers”, we could agree that it was just a bit too much to be funny. Having too much java on your wall was more annoying than an improvement, regardless of us allowing it (not liking it doesn’t equal not allowing it, you seem to forget this). But also, as long as there are people who like it, it doesn’t matter that much.

I can understand your autoplay argument, it was brought up in the IRC as well. But autoplays commonly aren’t annoying, it’s just a song that person likes and which others could agree with. But do you think people would like a fuckhuge amount of loud vuvuzelas being put on autoplay (and hidden) on a profile wall? No, they’d find it annoying.

That’s basically how it is. Your Starcraft theme is the good yet subtle theme people like and aren’t bothered with, like any regular song put on autoplay on a wall. Alejandro’s previous “Rev up those fryers” is loud vuvuzelas hidden and on autoplay.

(Also, at this point it might be best to point out. I was drunk when I made that first post regarding this topic.)

Reading your post, it has already reached the level where I rather wouldn’t have it to begin with. People spamming your inbox, finding it out themselves (and failing miserable in the process), plus afterwards tell others how to do it as well, I have reason to say “enough is enough”.

I don’t blame you, you were the original. But the current situation can make the existance of it quite an issue. I think I’ll bring it up to the staff after the weekend, this needs some discussion.

Nice avatar brah. I can’t believe no one did that scruffy coat thing besides me though :\.

Again, I don’t see myself as much of a presence on this forums, outside of Poni General, where every is special in their own little way, any more than someone like Quantum or Russian, but I could be wrong.

People person? Might you have been looking for extrovert? I consider myself to be one, despite my customary initial diffidence.
I find that to be sort of a misnomer though. Human beings are, after all, social creatures, and though some may be less gregarious than others, as a whole, you might as well consider us all extroverts. I’d wager that even those hikikomoris out there would relish being accepted into a social group if they could. Cuz dat’s just human nature (you can tell I’m almost as good as you with this psychology stuff).

“You may not have the social status that Natsuru, Verbose or Randomman have. You have a way to go to reach their level. "
Wha, who said I wanted to be them? I actually find their situation to be quite pitiable, having to carefully manage each and every one of their post, lest they lose face due to an anatomically incorrect drawing, a specious argument, or a failed joke. It feels good to have that freedom, you know? I’m only in it for the kramaz anywayz (almost at 2000 net!) I’m not some Mex-like being who can just go and ingratiate myself into the forums in 10 seconds flat.

“But yea, I’d say you are up there. I’m just basing my argument on the fact you get so many wall posts from everybody.”
Actually I’ve gotten like 5 pages from you and deadparrot alone, with some Brucker thrown in there for good measure (WHERE ARE YOU VERBOSE?). Really, it’s not the volume of posts I get, it’s just that I tend to have needlessly TL;DR conversations with equally needlessly TL;DR people.

Patrick? The guy who massacred me in the JFF Tournament of Champions? DO NOT MENTION HIS NAME IN MY PRESENCE!
He really used to be that popular, huh? I don’t see him around much anymoar. Or maybe I’m just consciously ignoring select users like I do with 404.

One last thing: pardon me if I’m being annoying, but how exactly is my posting style unique? Gotta have that affirmation from others, ya know.

Not really “fucked up”, it’s just that the quantity at which they’re being used simply bothers mods, to the extend that we are simply annoyed by it or even hate it (unfortunately it’s allowed).

Sorry I didn’t respond earlier.
RE: How long the vector version took.

Because of Twins’ questions on my wall, I actually timed myself to see how much time I spent.
It was 57min. Just under an hour. I spent the most time on your OC. Cause I drew Sweetie Belle before, so it was faster.

Yep, right now I’m drowning in work. And school hasn’t even legitly started yet :xx

“So i’ll make this short and try to wrap our discussion up.”
You don’t think it’s going to be that easy to shut me up, do you? FULL PINKIE PIE POWERS GO (I actually invariably get max Pinkie Pie on that poni personality test)

“I’ll stop with the positive reinforcement if its any consolation”
Nuuu I need the attention. No seriously. Praise, or the possibility of receiving it, makes me work 10 times harder and learn 20% faster. I only made the Javascript stuff so I could share it with a community, who happened to love it. I only made the BASIC programs because then my parents would praise me for making my ancestors proud seence I so goo ad mass.

“People person? At least here you are. You’ve got to be the most sociable person in this entire forum.”
Orly? My sorely lacking 14 pages of wall posts begs to differ.

And I doubt I’m the most sociable person on this entire forum, though I guess I might be up there, since what, I bet most of the users here are fat nerds who live in their parent’s basement and spend 25 hours of the day on the computer (jk). I probably don’t even have half the amount of friends irl as some of y’all do. Quality over quantity bitches.
