I don’t think the Mods like this one too much, although it’s overwhelmingly used in all the Chan boards I’ve come across (some of which I wish the “goggles” would have done something).
I’ll have to fine some time this week to spruce up the article and gain some more information on potential origins.

That’s John Cleese in the original picture, although I can’t seem to find the episode of MPFC that originated in. It seems to have nothing to do with Erik the Viking (1986) or the “Spam” skit they were famous for.
