“Bravely bold Sir Robin
Rode forth from Camelot.
He was not afraid to die,
Oh brave Sir Robin.
He was not at all afraid
To be killed in nasty ways.
Brave, brave, brave, brave Sir Robin.

He was not in the least bit scared
To be mashed into a pulp.
Or to have his eyes gouged out,
And his elbows broken.
To have his kneecaps split
And his body burned away,
And his limbs all hacked and mangled
Brave Sir Robin.

His head smashed in
And his heart cut out
And his liver removed
And his bowels unplugged
And his nostrils raped
And his bottom burnt off
And his penis--

That’s… that’s enough music for now lads…"

Commented on If You Watch X Backwards, It's About Y

If you play the game “Resident Evil” (PSX) backwards, it’s about a mansion that is created from an imploding bomb, a gigantic “tyrant” creature that puts itself in a glass tube, and two agents reviving zombies by retracting their bullets and grenades. Afterwards, they take their team and fly away in a helicopter as mutated dogs see them off.

If you watch “Watchmen” backwards, it’s about creating NY City from a gigantic explosion, two superheroes putting Rorschach in jail, having him get released by the cops, and digging up The Comedian so he can watch some late night TV after he defies gravity and flies up to his room.

It seems to be circulating a bit around the /sp/ page on 4chan, the “Videos” page on Fark, and the previous examples shown on YouTube via previous comments.

I say it’ll probably be like the Zidane headbutt and go viral for a bit then die off until the next World Cup in 2014. There’s a chance it may come back during the 2012 Olympics, as well.

@Luke – I’m not sure what the name of the phenomena could be called, but I do agree with you. Perhaps renaming the article to something like “Don’t look at this ‘x’” or something similar.

Anyway, I saw a short animated comic on the Cyanide and Happiness webpage a long time back that’s kind of related –

This may need the NSFW tag due to the language involved with the original video. Not sure if this will go viral like EBG.

This should be cleaned-up a bit in terms of the description, but other than that, confirm.

I’m at work ATM, but I have a couple of pictures that kind of relate to this entry, including the one of the runaway slave trying to make it to the freedom that is page 15. I may post it later.

It is still possible to obtain and view doubles on 4chan by either mousing over the number or clicking on it like you would for a specific reply. It makes for an annoying and worthless experience, though.

Confirming Dan Green’s comment. 4chan, thanks to a bunch of people wanted the 200 mil get, truncated the last three digits of each post to read, “XXX” (and not the good kind, either).

Doubles guy may have met his match.

I use this a lot on the FML comments sections for my long, irrational rantings, such as the time I was talking about burning down an orphanage in respect to our personal freedoms. These “orphans,” as I believe they are called, really have very little freedoms in today’s modernistic society and we need to kill this establishment with fire. Of course, shipping them to third-world countries could prove to be beneficial as a whole, as well. Think about it. We could sell the help to other countries in exchange for goods and services we (the United States) depend on, thus contributing to repaying our deficits and debts in a more timely fashion.
