01: Colombia
02: I watch the show but not into the fandom and all that stuff so maybe not brony
03: Luna
04: HTTYD on DA and TF2… quite…
05: family catholicity
06: YOU’RE THE DAMN RUSTLER AND THE SAND KING, THAT QUESTION IS ALREADY ANSWERED!

11: Gasp! You mean it’s not just about carnaval and football!? Yeah, I hate those national stereotypes too. You have a lovely country, but it does have its corruption issues. I sort of like that it’s a lusophone country with heavy South American influences. We don’t really have such openly intermixed cultures here in the U.S.. That kind of stuff would be swept under a rug.
12: I don’t think I would have to tell you how highly I value both of those career paths. Find what best suits you, though. Teaching can be tedious at times, and research can be unfulfilling. Hopefully you’ll get a good professor at your university – just one can make all the different in what you decide to do.
14: You gain good karma.
15: I was going to say something about “genre” not being the same as “gender.” Then I realized that was the direct translation to Portuguese. I’m feeling dumb now.

And yes, open world games are the best.

Afraid not. I’ve not been as huge of a gamer for the past few years. I’ll play one of the big titles on occasion, but not enough games to have a Steam account right now.

Sorry, I know it’s been a few days. I’ve been traveling.

11 – You like the deep and philosophical questions, right? You’re a citizen of Brazil, which is defined as a “Developing Country”. What is your opinion of the way “Developed Countries” bicker between each other?
12 – What would you like to do once you’re finished with your schooling? Any specific career/higher education direction?
13 – Do you clop? (Specifically to ponies)
14 – Hooray, it’s not the end of the world! Your local city is, however, completely ablaze. Do you maneuver through the streets to save yourself, or visit houses to see if you can help/save any others?
15 – What genre of game is your favorite? Do you prefer to play a good character or a renegade/evil one?

01/05: I currently live in Missouri in the United States. I don’t really call it home, though.
02: It’s About Time. It reminds me of some rather inebriated conversations I’ve had with friends.
03: I’m a big Doctor Who fan, but I’m not really as into that fandom as much.
04: I study astrophysics/astronomy, and I’m working on my terminal degrees right now. The research I do mostly deals with orbits of high mass objects and eccentricities. Most people would find it quite boring, really.
06: Brunette, kind of a light chocolatey color when I’m not in the sunlight much. Gets a bit lighter in the summer time.
07: 25. Puts me up a bit on the age scale for bronies, I guess.
08: Tough one. Chrono Trigger for the nostalgia. Skyrim if you’re going for more modern.
09: No. I gave up on my beliefs when I was younger, and my choices in life today would place me at many odds with the religion I grew up with as a child.

02 – I’ve seen bits of Avatar, but not Korra. Any good?
03 – That seems to be the general thing on KYM. Watch it to see what the big deal is, then become a fan.
08 – Might look into seeing if any colleges intend to do field studies there. They’ll usually be happy for any dedicated help they can get.
10 – Yeah, the U.S. has an over-nourishment issues. It’s sad, because the effects of that are pretty well the same as undernourishment. Just shows how little good food resources mean if you cannot use them correctly.

01 – Who is your favorite pony? Any particular reason why?
02 – Do you ship any particular couple/group?
03 – What got you into MLP?
04 – Why did you start “rustling” on the MLP area a while back? Worth it?
05 – Cats or dogs?
06 – What’s the strangest thing you’ve ever eaten?
07 – Do you have any hobbies?
08 – Are you, or have your ever been, interested in astronomy?
09 – The world has been ravaged by a nuclear war. How do you survive in your new somewhat irradated environment?
10 – I’m pretty sure you’re from Brazil. What are your opinions on the United States and its citizens?

They’re not all great questions, but I haven’t slept for a while. They’ll probably get better.

When you offered me those gifs to change my profile pic , you got them from here , right? I was wondering whether there were others like them. Do you happen to know any other site where I can find some? Also, I heard Carbot was coming up with an ultralisk episode, or is it just a rumor?

Continuin’ (there actually are limits 0_o)
Then, Gothic III was released, with a completely new engine and better graphics (one of the bast in 2006, actually). It sucked, but sealed the story nicely, not to forget the enormous and beautiful world they’ve created (this is why I’m Myrtanian, in homage to the game). Then PB ended working with the title, so JoWooD started to seek for another developer. They found one and released Forsaken Gods, aka Forsaken Bugs. The game was shit and forced continuation of an ended story. Then they found another developer, and released Gothic IV + expansion, which killed the series for me. It had everything what’s evil, including massive lore-rapes. As they say, in G3, FG and G4 the game was simplified “to reach broader audience in the US”.
And this is what commerce can do with a beautiful game…

Back to the lore, I actually like most aspects of Warcraft lore. Titans, the Burning Legion, the Scourge, the Dragonflights, Tirion Fordring, Medivh, Alliance, Horde, War of the Ancients, Order of Tirisfal… I’m considering reading Rise of the Lich King and Of Blood and Honor, but we’ll see… First I have to figure out how to get ’em.

I have seen a tragic disaster of a once-great game…
My other favourite series, Gothic. It was a game made by a German team named Piranha Bytes. They released the first game, which I truly loved. Then they made Gothic II, on the same but improved engine. JoWooD was the publisher since then. The game wasn’t as good, but then they made expansion, the Night of the Raven, which was pretty much unbelieveable and impressive. They also released Modification Development Kits for G1 and NotR, so that the players could do stories on their own, and I was one of them at that time, too. This was the golden age of the series.

Well… At least XP works well at all. Also I don’t see myself (or, more precisely, my parents payin’ for) updatin’ my PC every year just to be able to play a game for 100€ which will appear to be shit. My PC remains pretty much unmodified since around 2005.

And yea, I once discussed with my friends, who are also amateur game developers (I’m more like a retired one), ‘bout makin’ games bein’ an art, and honestly, there’s no reason why it shouldn’t be considered as such. And Blizzard is doin’ it, Warcraft is a masterpiece, not because the gameplay, graphics or else, but because of the Lore. These games are not games for dumb “who gets higher level” fags or graphic whores, they are like a long epic novel told through a game. I found that every single event from those tens of thousands years of history of Azerothian universe was easier for me to learn than a thousand years of history of Poland…

Other thing we were talkin’ ‘bout, was that as art is destroyed by commerce, so is gaming, but that’s a completely different topic…

Fuck if I know. From Blizz’s games I only played the whole Warcraft series, except Orcs&Humans and some of WoW expansions. But this series is not a game, it’s a fuckin’ piece of art.
