About

I love YTPMVs, seriously, they’re like crack

I’m never on AIM, but I do respond to wall posts and PMs and such.

My YouTube channel (there’s hardly anything there)

My Steam profile

I like to try to associate people with tropes. Here’s the one I chose for myself.

This thread, from this page onward, is my crown jewel, especially from here onward (EXCEPT PAGE 35, IF YOU VALUE YOUR SANITY PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD SKIP PAGE 35).

Since people have been asking a lot about the fruit salad images, here’s an explanation: usually when people want to respond to a troll, but don’t want to give a serious response (since that would just be feeding it), they’ll post a stock photo of someone eating fruit salad instead. The point of it is to be weird and confusing; a confused troll is a defeated troll.

My thoughts on Internet censorship: “The Internet is a free frontier; a canvas upon which the world can paint its culture. We can explore and develop knowledge, share thoughts and ideas, catalogue just about anything, provide and consume entertainment and information, and communicate at virtually unrivaled speeds. The Internet is simultaneously the most beautiful and most grotesque thing on the planet. I think unregulated access to the Internet should become a human right. The Internet represents ultimate freedom, because anyone with Internet access can do as they please as long as they have no malicious intentions against the freedom of anyone else. Because of this, there is absolutely no place nor full justification for government regulation on the Internet.”

I don’t know who to choose for best pony anymore. Applejack is pretty great, but so is Rarity! What do I do?

Katawa Shoujo is pretty sweet!

I never said I was nice. I said the movement as a whole uses “nice” tactics. And I don’t accuse anyone who disagrees with me of cultural marxism; for example, I haven’t accused you of it. I really don’t know why you keep mentioning “the Jews” though; are you sure you’re not projecting?
And by the way, you really gotta work on that reading comprehension, given that nothing you’ve posted so far has addressed any of my actual points.

But I’m not even looking to debate the history of any political concepts (and no one is claiming everything political can be split on the authoritarian/libertarian spectrum; they are merely two options among a myriad of others). You seem to have only picked up on three words from my original post, rather than what I was actually trying to say. The libertarian tidbit wasn’t even my main point, I was just saying that I have observed higher numbers of libertarians among the gaming community than among any other communities I have observed -- obviously not everyone, and probably not even most people, involved with gaming is libertarian.

My main point was that it is crucial that Gamergate does not abandon the civil, “nice” approach that has been prevalent since the beginning, because it is one of GG’s key strengths.

No, I do not. I can’t speak to the origins of the phrase, nor do I particularly care for it.
Comparing libertarians to neo-Nazis is pretty extreme, given that the latter is an authoritarian ideology which is, again, pretty much the opposite of libertarianism.

Alright motormouth, what exactly do you want from me, do you want proof that their ideology points straight back to cultural marxism (which you keep putting in quotes as if it’s a phrase I made up)?

The biggest thing that has drawn people to our side is the fact that aGGros are nasty and we are not. Most people hadn’t heard of Gamergate until the gamers-are-dead articles came along; a sudden, coordinated, unwarranted, slanderous attack against the entire gaming community. That’s what made people support us, not a fight against any SJW -- if we had been nasty at the time, most people would have denounced the entire debacle rather than side with us.

As for SJWs, there’s no need for us to start whining about them -- they’ll destroy themselves. The more ridiculous they get, the more everyone realizes how full of it they are, and the more their in-club crumbles, while our unity only grows stronger. Gaming has simply been the most resistant to them by far because gamers tend to lean more libertarian than any other group, and the libertarian ideology (one that I will trumpet until the end of the world) is directly opposed to cultural marxism, which is what SJW beliefs point towards. It won’t be long before they’re gone -- not just from gaming, but from every hobby, and academia too. Where would they hide? In the corporate world? Their techniques don’t make a dime.

Why would Gamergate even have any objections to that claim?
We don’t have any objections to that, because it has nothing to do with what we’re doing.

This is what happens when your dub studio is so poor they can’t afford to get the real translation.
The funny thing is, they eventually did get the actual translation, but they had already diverged so much from the actual story that they had to continue the way they were doing it before

It’s good if you’re looking for New England area local small food places, but it was always on around lunchtime, making me really hungry.

Commented on Maury gives a totally necessary DNA test

I used to spend time at home during the summer with nothing to do, and I ended up watching nothing but Phantom Gourmet and Maury.
Every.
Single.
Maury.
Episode.
Was a “who’s the father?” paternity test episode. It is MIND-NUMBING.

Well, I’ll give her one thing, being handed $200k and told to start a business at age 20 will definitely make you learn a lot if you genuinely try to -- and most of that money will end up pissed away pretty quick, whether on inexperienced mistakes or a 10-year supply of Fruity Pebbles.
On the other hand, most of us will not have such an opportunity.

It’s not everything, but it’s a helluva good start! All we need now is whatever was on Mancil’s site that Kuchera linked to, and whatever Kuchera is referring to about Mancil “using his work.” As I understand it Mancil’s website is now private, and I’ll bet 20 bucks the latter bit is a deleted tweet, but the digging is worth doing if we can get ’em.

You did a good job m8. Keep it up; the most important thing we can do is maintain evidence of all events. What we say is so much more credible when we can provide proof of it.

That’s actually the exact article I was referring to. I’m looking for something more concrete; a picture that shows what happened to him, not an article that describes it.

Are there any images that display what happened to Chris Mancil pretty well? Not pictures that explain what happened, but pictures that actually show what happened? I’d like to have that for my personal collection; currently all I have is an article that any anti-GG or even a neutral could disregard as too biased.

Commented on yes, this is about ethics!

They’re known for doing paid reviews, having a mind-numbingly dumb readerbase, and for what some call the IGN rating scale, where 9-10 is good, 8 is okay, and 7 and below is bad. This has, at times, lead to pretty negative reactions about reasonable scores for games by other reviewers, such as the infamous 8.8 Gamespot score for Twilight Princess.
8.8 really isn’t bad.

But they have also been known to rate some games much higher or lower than they deserve; they rated God Hand extremely low (I think like 2 or 3), and from what I’ve heard God Hand is really good.

I have to call BS on this bit. If the guy on the right swings the sword to strike bluntly with the crossguard or pommel while he’s gripping the edges of the blade, the impact will push one of the edges into his hand, hard. Even if it’s dulled, it will likely still at least cut/bruise somewhat, and more likely cut deeply or break a bone.

Hold the fuck up. Most of your points are valid, but spread across multiple sites has always been a requirement for memes to get articles here. That’s why we don’t have articles for Imgur’s “Step one: be attractive” or /r9k/’s “fucking normies REEEEEE,” but we could eventually see articles for them if they spread/adapt outside of their respective sites.
