It’s never fun to see a hurtful comment about yourself, but you also need to know the difference between people laughing at you personally and people laughing at a concept. From my experience, whenever a joke like this is brought up, it does get some laughs and then a serious discussion about the fact that these people are people, not jokes.
Now, if she would become part of the joke rather than the victim of the joke, things would be different. This could be used as a way of raising awareness… Wait. No. That’s a tired, boring phrase that has little meaning. What this could do is raise the level of understanding society has for people such as her.
The problem people have when they’re new to this whole internet fame thing is that they often end up enraged about what’s been said about them. They get mad instead of getting into it. I doubt it’s very easy to do, seeing as feelings are being hurt, but what’s best isn’t always easy.
Commented on Hungry Kim Jong-un.
Makes sense, really. It’s the progression of a meme.
First, his father looked at things.
Then, he also started looking at things. The difference is that Kim Jong-un looks at everything with hunger.
Commented on That Really Rustled My Jimmies.
I laughed pretty hard at “My Jimmies are ready.” I think this needs to become popular.
Commented on Luna Game / The End is Neigh.
Both of the reaction videos are flagged as private. Either talk to their authors or find different ones.

Commented on Sarah Jessica Parker Looks Like a Horse.
Still not sure how she looks like a horse. Is it the nose? Well that’s not very nice. Especially since this criticism comes from people who look like blobfish.
Commented on Good Guy Lucifer.
He isn’t supposed to be punishing evildoers in hell, this is true. He’s supposed to be one of the guys getting punished.
However, as far as the whole Satan thing goes, Satan is just supposed to be an “adversary” (the literal Hebrew translation of his name) to God, not necessarily evil to the core. He still does stuff with God’s permission. (see the book of Job in which he asks God’s permission before testing Job’s faith)
So if your mindset is that Lucifer = Satan, which apparently a lot of people accept, then nah, he’s not such a bad guy. He does go ahead and test people though. I wouldn’t say his nature is to screw up God’s creations but rather to put them through their paces. Eve failed her test, as did Adam. Job didn’t fail his test, nor did Jesus (but really, he was totally cheating being the son of God and all that lol).
I like this meme. I don’t think it really pokes that much fun at Christianity, to be honest, since you can have a good one of these just by lifting stuff directly from the Bible or Torah. (Possibly Koran, too, but I’m not too acquainted with that one)

Commented on Good Guy Greg.
So, on a similar note, where does the image for Good Guy Lucifer come from? It was posted on the Superheroes Cheezburger site, so I imagine it comes from a comic book, but which one?
Commented on Some Men Just Want to Watch the World Burn.
This should be filed alongside “Look at all the fucks I give,” since the two are both similar in their usage. Also “And not a single fuck was given” would fit along with this. It’s all about someone saying “Screw this. Don’t care.”
Commented on Shit That Siri Says.
Okay, I’m pretty sure I’d spring for an iPhone if Siri had GLaDOS’s voice.
Commented on Occupy Protests.
Nice to see that Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wyoming are pretty satisfied with what’s going on!
Commented on , Sistah.
Now that this is in the deadpool, why don’t we throw Strawberry Guy in with it?
Commented on Where is Your God Now?.
The nice thing about this is that this meme’s usage doesn’t always denote any heckling of religion. Sometimes it’s just a statement of “WTF is going on in this picture?”
Commented on Nostalgia Critic.
He’s one of those internet personalities. Not a meme factory as some have commented saying, but to those who know him, he is beloved.
Commented on Insanity Puppy.
I dunno about the name. Insanity Puppy? I think Murder Pup is more fitting, seeing as that’s mostly what he’s concerned with.
Commented on Nope! Chuck Testa.
The Aslan one really got me for some reason. Pretty good, though. I think this one has potential, seeing as so many memes are animal-based.
Commented on iPhone Whale.
It’s a whale.

Commented on Hipster Barista.
“For this reason, Hipster Barista has a lot in common with its hipster advice animal relatives, Hipster Kitty and Hipster Ariel.”
No. REALLY?!
Commented on tumblr_llia2aznMH1qj26eao1_500.jpg.
Maybe the reason no one gave a fuck was because it sucked.
Commented on The Rent is Too Damn High / Jimmy McMillan.
It almost feels like there should be a category for memes like this. Xzibit, Inception, and now this… I dunno, what do you guys think?
Commented on The My Little Pony: The Princess Promenade Troll.
This is not a meme on its own, newfags, so calm down. This is a trolling event involving My Little Pony. It should thus be categorized under Trolling and perhaps also My Little Pony sub-memes, since it probably wouldn’t be even done without MLP: FiM.
Commented on Operation BART.
Spootwad:
“Well I’m glad anon is at least trying to keep their protests peaceful (don’t need another London, do we?) but there’s still one thing that really bothers me about them. If they are trying to “fight the man” then why do so many of their ops end with regular joes getting their private information dumped into the lion’s pit of the internet? I don’t see how that’s harming “the man” but I can see all kinds of ways that’s harming the people anon professes to be fighting for.”
One tactic of fighting against protestors is to plant in fake protestors who are on the other side of the argument. Such tactics have been used in making Tea Partiers look even more idiotic than they already are and inciting violence in otherwise peaceful protests. I have no doubt that some Anons are douchebags who go ahead and spread personal information (since douchebags can be anonymous too), but I also have no doubt that these are probably also the result of planted “Anons” who are meant to give them a bad image.
Before any judgment of a group like this is made, you have to understand that they can be infiltrated and subverted due to mob psychology and other tricks. It’s a good point to make that this spreading of personal information doesn’t help their cause, but also good to know that it isn’t always their doing.
