Origin needs more sauce. The chanarchive link isn’t working. It would be nice to find out who created the first image if at all possible. I’d continue looking.

The description confuses me too. It says that the image is a ghost with its hands tied behind its back. If that description is written from judging its appearance without knowing what the artist intended, I’d say it looks like a drawing of a person with their hands behind their back, probably hiding something. What people see in the image is subjective. I’d like to see more objective language.

Wow! That title needs help! I’d probably just junk this entry and make separate sub-meme entries for Owling and Cone-ing and any other relevant ones that surface. But a catch-all “verb-”ing entry seems too broad to signify that the meme is an offshoot of planking.

I don’t know how I feel about the phrase “it has been compared to planking” since the motivation behind spreading the concept of “owling” was as a direct response to planking, similar to cone-ing. Feels like this is missing the point.

I mean that even though your karma is in the red at -144, you’ve received a total of 2390 karma points. That 2390 is split 46% positive and 54% negative. So even though it’s negative, it’s not THAT negative.

I didn’t think anyone would actually have negative karma. The interesting thing is that the ratio of positive to negative isn’t that bad. For such a high karma total, you’re only slightly skewing negative.

Woah. I thought Jostin gave a lot of karma! Also, the 40% comments is unique. Glad someone’s got high levels there.
