DOUBLE POST!
Okay, after thinking about it a bit, I decided to look up this meme for an origin. The closest I can find was this:

This was the first use of the poster being photoshop (or drawn like this one shows). It was used for the homepage of this site: http://www.mrandmrschee.com/
The site was updated on December 1, 2005, so I can only presume it was published on that day.
Google Insights doesn’t show anything, so I guess people only come across this trend by chance. The only phrase that does display results is “mr and mrs”, but that’s too common and it only displays inaccurate results.
I hope you found this helpful.
I haven’t seen this around lately. Photoshop memes tend to be less popular than simple captions ones, mainly because not everybody can Photoshop at all.

Your welcome!
IMO, that was a Celestia Tier episode. But it kind of makes you wonder what would happen if Dash never made a sonic rainboom. :O

Note: This is an edit comment. Due to the site’s programming picking up the code (which I do NOT want it to do), I’m showing you a dummy meme submission instead.
Awesome! I was going to make a HTML Code guide for people to use, but this is much better!
By the way, here’s something I was messing around with so you guys can use later on:

I’ve adjusted some of the text and sizes for better viewing (I’m having problems trying to make the “hidden text” have a larger font), but nonetheless it’s pretty useful. Only thing is that it’s only to be used in meme submissions (sorry Forum :( ).
Anyways, have fun!

I wish the editors can delete the duplicates. From what I heard, only mods can do that. Not really helpful IMO. :l

@Luke
Exactly. I understand that they’re trying to keep the page open like this so all information is displayed as so, but I think adding the sub-memes section into a spoiler will help out immensely. And of course, any other section (or image) they feel is too big/unimportant to leave out in the open.
@Magnan
Finally, someone that knows how a meme works (and should work)!

Thanks! Although, one of the things that bugs me about the page is its “cluttered” appearance. In other words, the entry’s too big. Can’t we shorten it with spoilers?
