Rageguy is one of our more popular entries, but is lacking info. Does anyone have any relevant information that could be added?

The most notable videos can remain embedded, but entries with like 10 embedded derivatives can have most of them moved to the “add video” section.
This could be an interesting entry if it the right data could be found. If there were stats that showed how La Roux tracks are remixed more often than other artists, and a nice timeline was put together documenting some of the spread, it could end up being a great entry. Does it seem like the Internet has had a large role in her remix popularity? I think for awhile there she was dominating sites like Hype Machine.

If you haven’t heard already, the Elyse Porterfield dry erase board meme was a hoax. Why was this so viral? Does the Internet just love underdogs/heroes like Antoine Dodson, and Steven Slater?
Awesome! Thanks Juan :)
Our Deal With It entry could use some work. Does anyone have any info to share? If you would like to be added as an editor please feel free to use the “Request Editorship” button on the meme entry page here.
We are working on confirming the Latarian Milton entry, but would like to add some information on how it changed from a local news story to an Internet viral video. If you have any additional info/links please add them here so we can get this confirmed and do hood rat stuff with our friends.
I’m trying to find out more information about this 45 year old who dresses like a scene kid. I posted a blurb about him here: http://www.memecore.com/memecore/2010/5/13/crisxcrux-aka-emo-dad.html Anyone know anything else about this meme?
doh I missed that thread!
It’s a meme machine! http://shirt.woot.com/Friends.aspx?k=13743
Thanks Chris! Great write up.
Awesome pics! It was great meeting you guys.
Thanks Jamie! That 140 Proof shirt is great.
Thanks Brad! I like your site too; added it to my Google Reader. Sweatie: I didn’t add them to KYM because I didn’t think they were viral enough for this site. They are meme enough for mine though :P
Like I said, it’s not trying to be an ultra viral meme database like KYM. It’s meme news with a broader view which is necessary for a blog that is updated daily. While KYM needs to be more exclusive about what memes are confirmed, a blog format meme site can use a broader definition. tl;dr it’s not trying to be KYM, it’s just a blog.
Actually I’m just posting memes as I see them. It’s different than this site as I’m not just posting ultra-viral memes. I’m erring more towards the academic definition of a ‘meme’ and not the internet cultural definition. It’s some of both. It’s just anything I want to post, that has some type of meme relevance. I don’t have to even like the meme. Think of it as meme news I guess. For example if I see a meme (however small) in a few different corners of the internet, I’ll post about it. It can be a...
I just tossed up http://www.memecore.com yesterday . It’s basically an everything meme related blog. As it matures I plan to go deeper into the specific characteristics of meme resonance. It’s a work in progress, but check it out!
