It’s supposed to encompass both Pixel Art and Chiptunes, but I understand the issue with calling it “8 bit”. Another option is renaming it “Chiptunes / Pixel Art”.

This tweet dates back to November 2008. I see that it is now used to make fun of Brazilian players in a number of MMOs. It’s proving to be quite tough nailing that comic’s origin down.

Anyone know the history of this? I’m looking for the origin of the comic for this, and can’t seem to locate it. I gave that entry the title “Oh Crap / OMG Rage Face” for the exact reason Abra laid out. Previously it was something like “Super FFUUUU”, which I couldn’t find anywhere else.

It should definitely mention the popular Livejournal community Oh No They Didn’t as well.
