Hey, I just found out about the “sad crab” picture turning into a meme. I just want to mention that I’m the one who originally scanned the picture from Fine Cooking’s print magazine that was used by everyone else – I’d posted it to a forum thread at http://www.poe-news.com/forums/sp.php?pi=1002250689 and it spread from there. I also posted a comment on the article but I didn’t see any way of contributing an edit to the article itself.

Anyway, wow, I had no idea that random find had turned into a meme! I love the Internet.

Hello, I was wondering if there was some way you were able to update the Autism article with some information I researched on how it became being used as an insult/buzzword for internet users/posters (mainly on 4chan, youtube and reddit from what I’ve seen online) who carry on nonstop about the same thing to the point that noone cares what they’re saying. From what I was able to gather its’ usage in that context originates from /v/, the video gaming board in 2010… I left a bunch of the info I found with links in the comments section of the article.

From what I understand you are an admin, so that’s why I asked you (after asking the current article editors for editor consideration and suggesting a change a month or so ago) That and it hasn’t been updated edited in a month, so I suspect the editors have either been very busy or stopped caring about it)

Hi Don, I need a little help on my ’’Juan’’ entry, I don’t expect you to do it, but it will mean a lot.
Thank You.

Hey. What do you think of starting up a topic where newer members (like me) can ask moderators and/or more experienced members (like you) for advice on improving articles that they’ve written? I feel like a lot of otherwise-decent or great articles aren’t getting confirmed simply because they just need that little extra push to get them over the top – a grammar check here, a reformatting there… Anyways, I was thinking of starting it myself, but figured that I should run it past the site’s bigshots first (there isn’t much point to it if it doesn’t get much traffic…)

Yo! It seems that there’s a minor bug in the site’s code – comments made on videos don’t show up on the Activity page. (I’ve commented on two videos so far.)

Also, how does one add references to an article on the site?

Heya! I’ve followed Know Your Meme for a long time, but have only just formed an account. I have one quick question to ask – is there any way to note which articles you’ve requested an editorship for, or to be notified of the status of your editorship requests?
