The My Little Pony thing is actually what I meant when I said oddness. I think things which weren’t aimed at an adult audience but manage to gain a large fandom online somehow are more deserving of subculture pages than things which were meant to be popular with adults, like CoD or Skyrim. That’s what I was trying to say/

I like Osaka and Trixie. And Vriska.
That’s pretty much all there is to me.

Okay I feel…..really weird asking about whether this deserves a page, but considering the size of the fandom at this moment, this really may deserve a fandom page…. This year saw the release of the film adaptation of the classic Dr. Seuss story the Lorax. The film has acquired….. an unusually large and devoted fanbase online. And when I saw the film has gotten a fanbase, I mean The Once-Ler has a fanbase. People are going nuts over him! Cosplaying, Ask Blogs, Gifs, PORN. I can’t believe i’m saying ...
This thread was too good to die. I’m reviving it. Okay, tomorrow night I plan on streaming two classic 80’s movies, one so awesome it defies description. The other is Troll 2. So tomorrow on 7pm CDT Friday 23rd March, I will be (hopefully) streaming Ghostbusters and Troll 2. The stream will be of course taking place in my livestream, linked here and in the OP as always. The order the two movies are streamed in has not been decided, but I have them both ready so it’s not a problem either way.
Recently, I was struck by a massive wave of nostalgia for a website I used to check out years ago. The website, a site set up by the either insane or simply misguided scam artist Alex Chiu, detailing his sales pitch for his “magnetic rings”, which he claims will grant the users immortatily, was to my surprise not only still up, but appeared to have not changed it’s design at all over the last decade. Wacky fonts, images just pasted onto a white background without thought, ROTATING GIFS…..it’s all here....
We are unstoppable. We are all mighty. We are almost cherry coke but not quite. I’m a Pepper, he’s a Pepper, she’s a Pepper, we’re a Pepper. Wouldn’t YOU like. To be a Pepper too?
Gone. Tell me on IRC if anything else happens.
Locked for dumb comments, pointlessly trying to turn this into a Pony bashing thread, terrible OP post and for being derailed insanely quickly.
Sweatie got himself banned for similar reasons Itiz did. He was slightly bored of the forums and needs to spend less time on the site, so he asked for a deactivation. Witch King did it for the lulz. Both are still in the IRC occasionally so it’s not like they left the site. Just the forums.
Yes my friends, we have reached the end of an era. On the 10th March, 2012, aka last Saturday, the domain for one of the kings of Shock Sites, Meatspin, finally expired. Good night sweet prince. You will be missed.
In this thread, post your own ideas and designs for video games. They have to be awesome and/or funny though. My idea is a idea so simple and yet genius, I’m amazed it hasn’t been done already. You play a student who, after suffering a major heart attack due to a heart condition, is sent to a special needs school. While there, he learns the meaning of love and changes his opinions and thoughts on disabled people and his own future. And it’s all due to 6 very important people. David Bowie. Yes, in...
Guess what exists? Whose Line anime art! Whose Kawaii Is It Anyway. Yup.
We already have a whole thread for this.
Whose Line is it Anyway: The Movie. Starring Colin Mochrie as Colin Mochrie.
Name: Doctor. Symbol: iPod. Patron: Dragon (Book: Charlie Brooker’s Dawn of the Dumb) Realm of Power: Sex (I Just Had Sex, Awwww yeaaaah) Worshipers: 1 258. Also I’m pretty sure most people are getting the Worshippers bit completely wrong.
You know what else is behind me? MY MOM!
Am I the only person who’s first thought at seeing the word UPDATE was “HOMESTUCK?!!” Anyway, things are ok. I’m currently downloading most of my iPod onto the school’s computer for a project I’m working on. It’s taking a long time.
Think that’s badass? I once got one of those rub on-tattoo’s in a box of cereal, and kept it on my arm for ALMOST A WHOLE WEEK.
