Commented on The Story of Us: Five Years Ago Today
Yeah, we should totally elect people because they put a video of themselves dancing with Ellen up on youtube.
If you can’t take yourselves seriously, how are we supposed to?
Commented on Facebook University Meme Pages
Reddit complaining about people not understanding internet culture? That’s rich.

Goddammit, I remember when “meme” wasn’t just another word for “image macro”.

Why
Why must everything become an advice dog image macro
There are people who think macro=meme
It does not.

Commented on My Little Dashie (MLP:FIM fanfiction)
Aside from the “Oh god not another MLP entry”, I think it should be a general point for people to remember: Fanfiction is NOT a meme. Fanfiction can be memetic (see My Immortal or Full Life Consequences), but the fanfic itself is rarely the actual meme.

Sigh, reddit.

This had the potential to get creepy and then it just turned into gore. Yawn.
Hardly exclusive to /a/, it’s quite common on /v/ as well.
Gotta deadpool fast

Commented on Scumbag Christian
This “meme” has committed the unforgivable sin of not being funny. Seriously, reddit, learn 2 humor. Just insulting people you don’t like doesn’t make you look any better.

>that feel when Rick Perry tries to ride the religion train to the primaries
>that feel when it will fail horribly
Commented on I Took an Arrow in the Knee
This and Chuck Testa are fascinating little studies in an accelerated meme life cycle. They’re born, spammed everywhere for about a week, and then die an abrupt death. Their corpse is beaten for a few months afterwards, becoming something of a meta-meme. We should study this.
Commented on Advantages of Science
Forget the inherent butthurt over religion, these fail just because they aren’t funny. Seriously, I didn’t even crack a smile at any of them.

Goddammit, Skyrim.
