I was planning to join the military, I would have hoped to be on the front lines, and fortunately we are progressing toward that. The Marines are starting to bring women into male-only units, which is a good start. There are plenty of women who would readily fight alongside men. Just some food for thought.

I actually can’t even describe how I feel about this, other than outraged.
This is the world we live in, people. It could happen to any of us. If I were there, I would have given my life if I could save just one of those children, just so they could live to see another Christmas with their family.
Why would somebody do that? To children and nearing the holidays?
I read the Chicago Tribune today, and people in the comments were blaming each other for this. Going on about gun laws. That made it even more sickening. I can’t stand living in a world so full of hate. It just makes me want to stay in my room forever, just so I’m not exposed to it. If only I could.
